Well, with regard to any legal ways around the law that leave you in control and protected.

at the expats meet last week , pattaya...the thai laywer said if u put the compant in a thai lawyers or nominees name they will not check as its 100 percent thai.then change over later,but as he said the black hole is can u trust them.

he also said if the house and land are in your wifes name and she dies first ....you the farang can and do have claim to hpuse and land....thai LAW.he said no one has contested this yet,and he wants to do it...he is from pattaya ..sorry for the miss spells my backspace has just gone 5 5

One thing i have learnt from living here,never argue with a thai man especially,,,woman too ,but we always argue with them.

thais act first,cause they loose face and worry about it later.

besides if they go to jail ,they are all use to living close to each other and they get a feed.

as hard as it is,, always ,say ka tawd kurp.[sorry ]and leave ....and if you see trouble brewing leave.

It sounds good ,i'd do the next two if our car is avaiable bang saray is up the rd ,so i will do that one for sure.

i raced bangphra last weekend,got 5th [very hard course]over 50ths,

and have done other races,

it looks good for a training run and what ever,there is a race at rayong,on the 10th/12,around bang phe,

Yes it is hard to get the events in engilish,but if you or someone can read thai ,

Yes, you can take it out.

For business, the norm is you are taxed out of your profit.

Selling a business, you are taxed from what you get above your invested capital.

For individual:

Selling a house with land deed, you are taxed at the point of sale (Land Department).

Selling some of the shares, you are taxed from profit (except buying and selling in the stock market).

Selling personal belongings, no taxes.

What is the norm ,are you allowed to take out more than you bring in ,be it for a house or business .and are you taxed on it,as well as when you sell your house or buss.

nt pattaya rd bus station about 90b,and it all depends if you want stay in the big city or a resort big diff,i love koh samet at banphe just past raynong 25ks from raynong ,minibus 200 oneway and 50 b on the boat look it up in thailand hotels and islands
