Thai Airways Declares Over B10bn Baht in Profit in 2022

I feel same as you. I love Emirates and their services and cabing staff are great but I have had a lot of times rushing for connections. So living in London I just prefer the covinience of getting to Lhr and getting on a direct flight knowing if there is a delay it won't be causing me problems when I change flights. What I have found at the moment to go to bkk in May Eva is the cheapest and prices are coming down -
Of course you are correct. The Tobacco industry are very powerful players. And as another person has said earlier they will eventually manufacture vapes and E Cigarettes and then we will see a push to legalise sales. I done some contract security work in the early 2000s for British American Tobbaco and seen the way the Tobacco industry works

I have said before my girl friends mates all vape. None being smokers before. Im in London most of the year working and am used to seeing Vapes being sold everywhere from your local newsagents to Sainsburys supermarket. But every time I'm back in Bangkok to see the girlfriend I see more people vaping. There must be a way the government can legalise it I'm no economics expert but all banning it will do is push on line sales

I lived east Sussex a few years ago. You probably did the right thing by going down there and rather here to London. Sounds like you are sorted. Good luck finding work. But you are in the right place in East Sussex. Plenty hotels requiring hospitality workers.

The Queen's dogs were her beloved companions. What will happen to them now?
DaveE13 replied to Scott's topic in World News
I don't think they will end up at Battersea dogs home. Other royals will look after them. I wouldn't mind one of her black labs. Beautiful dogs -
Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, has died
DaveE13 replied to Scott's topic in World News
RIP To Her Majesty. We supplied extra security at St.Barts hospital when Phillip was dying. It was mainly to keep papz and other NHS staff away from the 6th floor where Phillip was. Of course at that point there was nothing that could of been done. So he was taken back to the private hospital and allowed home. A few days later the Queen wanted to go to Barts to thank the staff for all they done. There was no press around no pomp. Just her and her staff. That was the class of the lady. RIP Maam -

I watched this live. Embarrassing for the protestors as they were being dragged away past the crowds they were being heckled by old ladies waving flags
