Yes Pence is a hard core traditional right wing extremist, but I question your assertion that he's all that skilled. It's well known he didn't want to run for Governor of Indiana again because he was expected to lose. He's got the charisma of a grapefruit. I don't think he's in step with the country, and if the democrats can take the house in 18, he'll be castrated anyway.
It could be a big reason Pence was picked in the first place was impeachment insurance. Maybe call his bluff? Fighting Pence would be back to NORMALITY anyway. We don't need any more bizarre twitter freaks like trump ever again.
Paul Ryan, on the other hand, is a scarier force. To get there, Pence would have to go down too. I don't see that happening.
Have you read about his weird relationship with his wife? You don’t think he’s castrated already??
But seriously, I’m coming ‘round to your view on a Pence Presidency. There’s not enough on him for impeachment. And he has little hope of getting elected at the end of his short term. And he won’t be able to get much of his Koch agenda through as he will be quite hobbled.

As much respect as any treasonous weasel deserves.

Johnson told AL.com, an Alabama news website, that Moore grabbed her buttocks as she left.

Moore’s press conference was a cluster fk.
The question was: “Judge, did you touch any of the women who’ve accused you of touching them, just answer the q...”

I thought only Steve Bannon had the flexibility to do that sort of thing.

2017 Trump should take the advice of 2013 Trump:
Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)

Next time Marco Rubio should drink his water from a glass as opposed to a bottle—would have much less negative impact.

Republican leaders in Washington have asked Moore to withdraw from the race
After whistling past sculduggery, sexual harassment, racism, nazism, treason, financial malfeasance, tax evasion, nepotism, kicking gold star families when they’re down, the GOP are finally drawing the line at paedophelia.
I guess that’s something. The courage it must have required to stand up against Child molestation.

Foiled at first when he could not locate any water on his podium, reporters pointed out there was a bottle on a table to his right.
He knew where that bottle was, but he was looking for his usual bottle, the one with Silicon nipple.

I despise the current VP and POTUS, but could you help me see how Pence would be worse than 45? I will/hope both to be gone but believe 45 is a/b the worst thing this country has ever experienced.
Thanks.
Trump is, at best amoral. Believes in nothing but himself, is incompetent, an obvious buffoon and shows up many evangelicals as the hypocrites they are.
Pence is an out and out Koch lackey. If he had real power, and with their help, he would dismantle decades of hard-won progressive policies with ruthless efficiency. While Trump is doing so too, he is less effective than Pence would be.
On the other hand...the nuclear codes would be safer in Pence’s hands. Sigh.

Yes, but other than the metadata, GPS history, iCloud back ups, ISP logs, computer forensics, physical house, car and crime scene searches, military and govt records, and eyewitnesses, how can we investigate without unlocking the phone?

I think great that they were given a vote. NZ may have beaten them to it but then 120 people decided my moral view. i tend to think given a vote more than 75% would have been in favour. sadly Australia may be backward on some things but in this case Democracy was allowed a choice.
Anything that’s not explicitly illegal, is legal. For example, on the roads, there are only “stop” signs, and no “don’t stop” signs. Strangely, this notion doesn’t always apply when it comes to equal rights for minorities.
The notion that the majority can decide what rights a minority should enjoy is fundamentally flawed.
Once the following are established:
Consensual adult marriage is a right
Consensual adult sex is a right
Sexual orientation is natural and not illegal
Then
What two consenting adults of whatever sexual orientation decide to do that other adults are legally allowed to do as a matter of course, should not be subject to majority approval.
In light of current enlightenment, they should automatically have the rights everyone else has and relevant laws (such as regarding joint taxation, spousal benefits, etc) should simply be updated as a matter of course.

For those who will inevitably say it is too early to talk about gun control, please note that for the victims of this shooting, it is too late to be talking about gun control.

Well idk about condos but the amount of shop houses being built is staggering. Things is many sit unoccupied or un sold for a long time..How they, who ever 'they' are can have so much $ tied up in unproductive assets I'll never know..And how much is it banks money or private...It does fuel the concrete, tiles, windows and utilities industries..oh an Cambo/Burmese labor agencies.
In every property market, there is an element of money laundering. Cash from corruption, tax evasion and illegal business like drugs, prostitution and gambling has to go somewhere. Even without the corrupt money coming from China and other places, there is plenty of cash right here that needs cleaning and parking.
The market is too opaque and there is too much misinformation out there to know what is really going on.

The aforementioned figures of condominium units sold and occupied is an indicative that there is no over-surplus
Another way to look at the same numbers: almost 40% of all units built THIS YEAR ALONE are unoccupied and therefore available to dump on the market at the drop of a dime. Whether this is a Damocles Sword hanging over the market depends on how many of the sold units were bought on credit by entities that are easily spooked or that circumstances can easily tip into not being able to meet payments.
The other consideration is how flush the banks are and whether, if their borrowers are unable to pay, they would decide to hold on to those properties rather than dump them on the market.

Sorry, but these 'accusers' seem to come out of the woodwork years to decades after the alleged offense, and their appearance coincides with runs for political offices. Why not come forward on a day when the guy isn't running for office?
I don't even know who this guy is, but accusing candidates of sexual impropriety that happened decades before seems to be the new category of political smear tactics. Politics are already a fetid, stinking swamp - let's make it worse.I’m struggling to understand what exactly you are defending here. Should victims of abuse only come forward at a time and place convenient to the accused?
Sexual abuse is extremely traumatic. Most victims NEVER come forward.

Putin is doing his country proud, and impartial observers may feel compelled to give him kudos for it. I would hate to be a US citizen now. They are being trolled and punked by their own leadership.
When it comes to looking after Russian interests, Putin is doing a great Job. Ditto for Trump.
