Seems they are fairly close to the bottom in many rankings including English as a second language, critical thinking, history, geography, others.
But the most interesting part is that upper middle and upper class equivalent kids who college, or in some cases from high school, are still quite incapable of critical thinking when they return to Thailand. I wonder if there is some ideal age range to learn critical thinking skills.
and yet they survive, in many ways better than we do.
Because they were sheltered and protected for decades.
Those times are coming to an end...and now it turns out, that protectionism isn't the best way to go!

With the way, Thai- museums (mostly) are maintained and history is taught in Thailand, I guess these artifacts are better kept anywhere else, but here!

"Prayut also unhappy about martial law"

The "worst" thing about it is, that some (Thai) people on FB passed it around as the gospel, mentioning "Don't dump Thailand before you know Thailand!" and other comments like that!
If people are really that easy to deceive and to fool, then Thailand has a loooong way to go, facing reality and living with it.
This is like watching a McDonalds- spot and going "Look! I told told you it is healthy and good for you!"

Just reminding everybody they are also facing a charge of illegal entry into the country so I think they will continue to be held on that charge even if they are not indicted on the murder charge.
I wonder, if their "employers" are facing any charges for hiring them...

Now a draft law put forward by the Ministry of Commerce would restrict foreign firms from being able to use preferred stock to retain control of their businesses.
"This proposed change would have far-reaching ramifications that would affect thousands of existing firms here, big and small, and would certainly deter future foreign investment," said Marcus Burtenshaw, executive director of real estate consultancy Knight Frank Thailand.

And in related news :
In 1779, the Thai General Chao Phraya Chakri put down an insurrection, captured Vientiane and looted the Emerald Buddha to Siam, taking it with him to Thonburi. After he became King Rama I of Thailand, he moved the Emerald Buddha with great ceremony to its current home in Wat Phra Kaew on 22 March 1784.
Thin ice! Very thin ice!

Thai girl creates online sensation by turning down adoption offer by Kim Kardashian

I don't know Kim Kardashian, in fact, I have only a very slight idea of who she is.
Therefor I am a bit hesitant to judge her qualities as a human and a mother, just judging on the picture, she present in the media.
Good that most of you obviously have deeper insight!
