Overstayed Visa in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits Posted December 18, 2015 I overstayed my visa by 6 years since 2010. Due to some circumstances causing me to have financial difficulties and thus i was unable to leave. But i overcame my problems was finally able to leave by Suvarnbhumi 2 days ago paid the fine of 20,000 baht. The immigration officers were very helpful to me and I guess because it was cos I could speak Thai fluently as well. I was not blacklisted and the officers told me that I can come back anytime I like after this. So I just want to kindly advice all overstayers to quickly settle your problems whatever you have, go out pay the fine now as the blacklist law is still not in effect now and according to the news and the immigration that it might be in March. Goodluck to all and be safe 2
