Is Steve from Krabi by any chance?
I think he was originally based in Phuket.
He actually posted a very interesting thread on Reddit in the Pattaya thread:
AMA = "Ask me anything".

If you go "off" the bargirl scene...even "normal" girls want some sort of "pocket money" from their boyfriends. (Thai/Thai relationships)
It's just the way it is here.

Trevor has his new bar on Soi "Pothole". Does he still have an interest in his other bar? I don't see him plugging that bar that much anymore.
He never owned it - Steve Acreman - who owns about 6 Gentleman's Clubs owned it and just did a deal to use the name.

Buzzin has 80k + subscribers on YouTube Dean has 30k + Buzzin must be making decent money. It might all stop as it’s rumoured you might need a Work Permit if you are based in Thailand.
Deans gone quiet on the advertising hoarding, who ever looks at them, Dean said hotel is fully booked Nov/Dec but never mentioned the other months, it is cheap but bordered by a busy road and Soi so sleep could be a problem.
It's a glorified short time hotel and so cheap you could use it just to get your head down for a powernap.
Ok if you want to go on the pi$$ down Soi 7.

I think that will make it 4 plus the hotel, plus the share in the Indian restaurant and the large TV/advertising hoarding.
Easy to see why - he learnt from Bryan Flowers - but adapted.
Whereas Bryan had "Pattaya Addicts" and "bar crawls" to drive business, Nick has his YouTube Channel NDTVI.
You would be amazed how much this works. A lot of businesses are now "social media channels" with the core business attached!
His "Sunday live broadcast" bring in donations and "drinks".
Similarly, Trevor from "Buzzin Pattaya" opened a Bar in Soi Pothole. I went a few Sundays back and I could just about get a seat. It was rammed!
You have to realise there are are hundreds of thousands of sad sacks who watch YouTube and say "I'm gonna go to that bar and barfine that girl!"
Right...I'm off to look at some bars for sale

Anyone working online in Thailand for countries outside of Thailand earning income and paid into foreign bank account .
So your point??
Please address the OP question
Simple. Technically should have a WP. In reality doesn't need one.

There are some falang video YouTubers that are entertaining and informative, and also respectful - asking if it's ok to record.
But, there are also 'faceless' YouTubers that *secretly* record, following girls and couples around the streets. One is often recording and posting videos from Soi Buakow... But it is covert - the people don't know they are being recorded. They seem to ignore the camera...ie don't know there is one.
A focal point is the 7-11 close by to the upstairs gym.
Looking at the camera angle, it seems as though from waist height. Or maybe the height of a wheelchair...
Does anyone know who is making these videos and what kind of hidden camera rig they have?
I find them disrespectful and distasteful.
You seem to know a lot about them though!

Update: 2 different HR people sent conciliatory emails.
She will reply in a similar fashion to attempt to "de-escalate".
Let's see what happens later this week when staff are back at work.

I wouldn't write mails yourself, let the Labor Department sort it out all alone. They do it on a daily basis.
This first one was to HR in Singapore etc the business language is in English.
It was nothing too dramatic, just stated her history with company, her contract details, that after taking advice she thought what they were attempting to do was illegal, her intent to honour her legally binding contract, and finally that she would have no hesitation in going to the Labor Department etc.

The certificate will need to be sent to FCDO Milton Keynes to have an apostille attached. Then it needs to be attested at the Royal Thai Embassy, London. Once that is done it can be translated into Thai and then has to get the Thai MoFA certification stamp. I am currently undergoing the process with my birth certificate.
Here is a good starting point https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised/print
I did it all from Thailand - UK solictor signed the back of all of the above for my Birth certificate, marriage certificate, mum and dads' marriage certificate (needed it for Yellow book) and my University degrees. (I suggest you do the same as you never know what paperwork you might need)
Pain in the <deleted>. Can be done if you know someone in the UK who can handle the post/visit to Thai Embassy side of things, otherwise pay someone!

Of course people can express views, like me calling out his nonsense.
Not everyone is on Thai minimum wage.
All the Thai people on my estate have massive houses and flash cars. One fella has two Lamborghinis!

She WILL win in court. Your company will have to fight the lawyers of the Labor Department not the employee.
The person responsible for the illegal action could actually facing jail time. HR in general shts their pants for the Labor Department. Just bluff poker from your company.
Exactly.
I have a "farang" mate who got made redundant without severance a few years ago. He went to the Labor Office and as soon as they got involved the company coughed up.
Also, what some people commentating don't understand is in Thailand you are not hiring a lawyer and going to court, the Labor Office (ie a govt department) goes into bat on your behalf.
Do you think a Thai judge goes against "the Government"?
An update - as previously mentioned yesterday my wife contacted the Labor Office who said "withdraw your resignation"! Then see how the company responds.
This morning she messaged HR Head APAC (who obviously is oblivious to what is going on) who then scheduled an appointment and they talked for an hour.
She then sent a rather long email written by yours truly to all of them.
She is off work today but this should set the cat amongst the pigeons.

So, there must be a reason that they don't want to pay her.... I know when I had decent employees I paid them well because I wanted them to both stay and be satisfied.
There has been a change of country manager/director and also HR head. What do new people do? "I'm going to improve the bottom line by cutting costs!"
