The guy is from Tak, ตาก. This is the final hint.
I'm interested, but not that interested that I'm searching for twenty minutes!
Why can't you just post a link?

Do you want that I should tell you who is this COOLEST dude UTUBER with his BEAUTIFUL house which he built himself in Thailand?
He drives an old truck wherever he roams.
His UK home is by the sea.
Who is he?
A very unpretentious soul is he.
Try as one might, you just can't find nothing wrong with him.
He calls himself, James, but probably not his real name.
Seems that he came to Thailand and fell in love, 20 years ago...
And now, he is wishing he were in Portugal.
Maybe it's not so easy to come to Asia, live here for 45 years, and then NEVER return to the West.
45 Fing years in Asia, Man!
Try, if you will, to wrap your pea brains around that number!
It's only logical that most of you haven't a clue what I'm gabbing about.
But, I never hold this against you.
Do I?
Can we have a link please? Sounds interesting.

Apartments are owned by a single entity and can charge what they want.
Then again I have lived in a condo where the electricity was more than the Government rate.

The next 2 as well. Why are so many ppl resentful to a place they can voluntarily leave
You can critique a place without needing to "leave".
Plus, on the whole, a lot of Thai institutions do need criticising...maybe they might up their game!

Words escape me, a French guy, living in a house like that, stealing a backpack?
There is much to this story that needs telling, methinks.
A guess...Belgian guy owes Frenchie money, French goes to meet him and "confiscates" his possessions in lieu of payment and stuffs them in backpack.
Belgian guy grasses Frenchie... Police come... "It's all a misunderstanding"

Raz/Des - Skyscanner just now - KLM GBP 640, Eva GBP 750 and Thai GBP 825.
My flight was cheaper a few days before I left than in Feb when I booked it.
What dates?
June, July, August over a grand.

Des cheers - yes I was happy enough with Eva last time - 5 years ago.
Mr J - re. Thai - a plus is they go direct and are 9 across format I think.
Toby - I don't agree - I think it amazing that they can fly you 6,000 x 2 miles with baggage for approx £800, usually in relative comfort.
One point in favour of EVA - baggage in the hold - 2 x 23 kg - remarkable. Perhaps I'll go in the hold next time !
Maybe £800 single on Thai
Have to be extremely lucky with dates to get a return for that amount now.

Indeed... plenty of guessing as always with these reports...
Given the quality of reporting we see here repeated on this forum, would you place 100% faith in the accuracy of the report ???...
We have the video, but not what led up to it.
We saw the same a number of months back (French Guys in Samui)... the video was very conveniently cut not to show what happened earlier.... it was only later that another video surfaces showing that the ‘other side’ (Thai side) was not as ‘innocent’ as the initial report suggests.
Thus, yes, a lot of supposition and guess work... but not so blind as you suggest.
Whatever happened to those French guys?
Young to be driving around in a brand new 10m motor!

2 million in the month of May, times 12 months in the year plus a few more in high season = about 25 million.
Well, it won't be 12 x 2m as it only just reached 2 million during this high season!

When you pretend to sell very small amounts of unregulated something for 500bht/gm, the opportunity for money laundering is immense. The shops only need 'pretend' customers.
Exactly - laundrettes.

I guess you are not in Bangkok, but you could try Fortune Town?
Or someone there might know a company that does.

They estimated between 24m - 30mm. So far they year to date have exceeded 2m + per month, 12 * 2m = 24m. No BS just reporting actual arrivals.
Do you work for TAT?
Everyone knows that the first 3-4 months are the "high season", with Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year and Songkran.
They're not even getting an average of 2m a month now. They'll be lucky to break 20m - which is HALF of pre-covid levels.

What current BS numbers are they using now?
I thought TAT predicted 25m tourists this year?

Thats the second hand market... where the values had tripled last year, so this year they have depreciated from that ’tripling’...
IF you want to intelligently evaluate the appreciation compare RRP to the price on the current second hand market and you’ll see that these models are pretty much double their RRP.
The issue of course is that the in the current market getting hold of Rolex, AP and Pateks from Authorised Dealers is extremely difficult.
Now, that there is a ‘new model’ of daytona the previous models are projected to go up in value by approximately 150% from their current second hand value over the next couple of years. As is the Milgauss model which was discontinued this year.
I once saw a YouTube interview with James Dowling, Rolex Legend.
In the 90s he was at an auction in New York and "Bubblesbacks" were "the thing" and fetched more than Daytonas.
Fashion and tastes change. Although a pretty safe bet to "invest" (I hate that word with regards to watches) in discontinued references.

Hope he has the original receipt from Rolex.
Rolex don't sell watches. They supply watches to their Authorised dealers who then sell them - so you will never get a "Rolex" receipt.

The drivers fault. Don't now whether the driver was trying to swerve around them (on the wrong side of the road?). My guess is he didn't see them with a tinted screen.

To the OP, I have stayed in all of these and you can probably get a room for about 1200 a night:
This one has a nice rooftop bar - right next to 72 Race & Bar and about 10 other places, Warehouse 8 etc. Good Thai nightlife.

Both of the below are within a few minute walk to Robinsons and Paseo Mall in Lat Krabang.
Not as good as it used to be but ok:

Older, but big rooms.

What time are they landing?
I would always advise on an overnight stay 5 minutes away in Lat Krabang area and get the flight the next day. Loads of nice and cheap hotels.
I don't think I would want a long international flight then an 8 hour taxi journey!

There has been a previous thread on this and I can't find all that much recent information online.
Does anyone know the "exact" locations of where the ICONSIAM and Wongamat Village Shopping Malls are supposedly being built in Jomtien and Pattaya?
Has there been any progess?

Like many airlines ex-Thai staff still get cheap tickets. That's one of the reasons the front is full.
100% fact as I know ex-crew.
