No zebra crossing, not a doctor, high rank ( ie sensitive information knowledge).... Probably 2yrs, suspended, and 10k fine? Plus maybe to auction off a few cars under the table for a couple judges and police bosses at a special price. Note, There was no mention the young policeman fired for breaking law and causing a death, not stripped rank, not to pay heavy millions of compensation to the victim's family.

Push for vaccination of Thailand’s young ahead of new school term
tingtong replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
While understand your concerns, The big truth is that no one new vaccine in history ever came with a mid to long term safety data. That includes those against the usual diseases. Every new vaccine starts with a day 1. If follow your logic, never get a vaccine for your kids before 20-50 yrs data available? -

Pretentious face saving move, when phone companies selling out numbers to unwanted advertisers. Went to True centers, not once, but they are unwilling to block such calls, or texts. -
Fairly large nest egg needed to retire comfortably in Thailand
tingtong replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
100k thb a year....approx equal to the current min. salary level, supposedly around 9000thb a month ( 350b* 26days). Many ppl earn less actually. Questionable, but can argue it is relative comfort, vs a young worker who has higher living costs and probably a kid or few to raise too, from similar level salary. -
Why can’t the Thai government reduce the prices at the pumps?
tingtong replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Prices at the pump matter little by themselves... It is all about what the average salary can buy. For example, Australia may very well has 2x higher fuel prices, But flipping a burger at MaccyD won't get one 50thb /hours, but 300+, or 6x or more... Which worker can buy more fuel from the salary? The rich counties are pretty much all the cheapest ones if use a similar comparison, be that gasoline, food, or cloths. So here is the big question: Why can't large international corporations pay similar salaries to their workers doing the same job? Why can't governments demand that? -
