Yep. That will go a long way to stop illegal torrents, eh?
torrents should be allowed only if you fully vaccinated or have a negative test, and finish downloading before 9pm ????

Consider the minimum salary of a factory worker or those in agriculture, ....the income seem to be reasonable.
Face it, this is a low level job with near zero barrier to entry.

Reasonable priced....yet not bought...
Not unreasonable to think that little reason went to the price then.
Perhaps not having or lot fewer farang patrons (ATM) readily handy to fleece for large thai family meals also a factor!

Another round to the rich and corrupt.
Rooms subsidies up to 3000/night...
Must be most hardworking folks budget range, surely.
At full price that it nearly as much as a factory worker nets in a month with 24 days work!!
On top 600thb a day food voucher...where ppl work for 300 a day!!, If they lucky and their work isn't force closed in the name of covid!
Or just line up for handout ..
That 600 a day food voucher could feed 20x the ppl without food!!
Can't say surprised,
It is the 3rd round after all.
Just a little shocked that after 2 rounds of clear corruption they dare to do it again!

The Masked Singer!
Singing allowed in hazmat suit with full astronaut helmet decorated to your liking.
For alternative, the Darth Vader type with proper HEPA filter will be considered.

Would be sweet to consider the parents of children age 3 and up first....
You know,
Those parents can take care of their young child, but if the parents get covid it doesn't work the other way around...
Common sense isn't that common nowadays.

People should avoid getting boosters at the moment, but not because the benefits are unknown as the article implies, it's because it would be a very selfish thing to do if you've already had two shots while many people here have not even had one yet. It's far better that as many people as possible receive at least one dose of vaccine than that a select few get three doses (although I realise that the likes of Prayut and Anutin will already have their names down for a booster, lol).
Partially correct on selfish.
However, would need to look into the real effectiveness of Sinovac, where little study done.
In Hungary they used Sinopharm first on elderly (60+) mainly.
Later a larger study carried out found that approx 25% of them, despite double vaxed, had no antibody reaction triggered.
Thought to be fully vaxed and protected, which they were not, in reality.
If Sinovac and Sinopharm are similar logic based, which I think they are ... A similar study here would be real useful.
Bcos those ppl if in reality has no reaction triggered by Sinovac, would not at all be selfish to get a 3rd shot of something different!

No wonder they are pushing for immunity ...
once it comes to an end, the serious questions start being asked.

Foreigners who work here, and give to the country, can get PR or citizenship, in quite a simple process(especially if married to a Thai).
I find it laughable when I hear a retired butcher, Bert from Bolton, who married Buriram Noi from the Pink Pussy bar, complain about not getting a Thai ID card.
Yet most case if someone marry a local, god forbid gas children together, and still able to show money regularly...an easy residency.
Not in Thailand!
Indeed, ppl with families are long overlooked, and offered little, in exchange to supporting a Thai family, and for the privilege for parking 400k on an acct for zero interest. Plus paying re-entry if as much as visit home country once in a while.
Owning as little as 200m2 plot for a modest house is no-no!
Paying local price many places a no-no.
Do it for family, but can't deny the fact that often regretting. However once the kid halfway thru school, it is no turning anymore really.
That makes it suck no less.

The predicted rise in suicides caused by effects of lockdowns, financial and mental will on total far more outnumber the lives saved on less road accidents.
So yeah, lockdown.. think again!
Thailand is leading in suicides of ASEAN.

Curiously, officially 83% of the population aren't fully vaccinated...
So the numbers kinda in line.
( Per recent official data 17% got the double jabs so far)

Thailand might not be the only country planning to attract back tourists with closed shops, no alcohol and a full night curfew....
But I don't know any other country where this plan worked out.

Numbers, numbers...
Now with about 100 days left this year, just need to find a way for an even 700k a day jabs, so all 71 million vaccines get a good use.
It is super likely the government will deliver on these numbers.
Or not.
Either way, they can always make up a new plan.
As they had twice a week the past months...

Rather optimistic.
With covid regulations relaxed, more likely that the daily protests resume.
Nothing has changed.
Prayuth is on borrowed time.
