    Rarely have had a problem with taxi drivers using a meter in BKK, unless your standing out side Nana etc, most are very pleasant and don't overcharge...

    Pal of mine has a bar in Pattaya, 5 Indians came in for a drink ordered a beer each, the Alpah male asked for a free beer as he brought his friends in, could not make it up.

    Retirement visa, just requires re entry visa and 30 day covid insurance cover, cost about 700 baht, and an on line form I belive...for fully vax...

    I asked for seniors discount on a trip by ferry in Vietnam, as on price list, showed id no problem, must becommunist policy's.....
