The OP has been seriously misinformed here. Depending on the reason for a call out, almost all UK police cars are equipped with firearms and a trained firearms officer. Unlike a certain country, the UK police do not go in heavy handed, guns blazing, to a domestic disturbance, when there is no necessity. However, there are times when armed police are in plain sight, which in most cases is a deterrent.
So the guns are in the car !
Geez you wouldn't want to do that in Australia, they would jump in and take off with the car !
I don't know about you but if your a cop attending a domestic and the offender pulls a knife , I'm not going out to the car to get the gun

If you read the article they should recline but didn't should also convert into beds but didn't i.e. not maintained so he was offered 5500 baht for the 'inconvenience'. If I paid business class I would expect these things to be working otherwise what's the point of travelling BC?
I remember my Philippines airlines Sydney to Manila, looked like Premium economy, just seats only

Thai have grown so big now, too big to remember how to provide the basics services, while every few days you read
how Thai are selling and buying new fleets of planes in the billions...
Just recently had to jump through many hoops trying to re book my business class return from Melbourne to Bkk
endlessly waiting on the phone to speak to customer's service, unfortunately Thai is the only regular direct flight
from Melbourne to Bkk, (other than Jetstar) and not a fan of a stop-overs...
Qantas is a direct flight
Jetstar is a direct flight

Our electricity is up this month with temps over 40 regularly. probably up 25%, to be expected.
Your from outback Queensland aren't you
Would be nothing compared to the heat in Outback Australia 🦘

Anyway anyone here from Australia especially Queensland or Northern Territory should be used to the brutal heat
Probably nothing compared to living in Alice Springs

Uh, no.
I make fun of you because you're a dumb racist towards your Philipino co-workers.
I put myself through grad school doing computer maintenance in a hospital, which means mostly just cleaning them.
Otherwise, I am glad that you get to brag that you are so rich that you can afford an electric fan.
You just keep putting ya sunscreen on son
And why shouldn't I be racist Australia is my country.
And just to let you know even though I don't need the sunscreen I still get reimbursed from the government for it 😂

Even in my Airbnb I have turned the air con off
I don't know what rates the owner will charge me at the end of the month but I'm thinking the 12k a month rental might not be as cheap as staying in a hotel after I pay the electricity!!!
I will get a fan soon as I find a shop
This is what you must take into consideration staying in a Airbnb even if it's a cheap 12,000 baht a month you have electricity and water

Calling someone a monkey because their Australian Aboriginal is very lowv my friend ,at least I don't need to put sunscreen on .
Judging by your posts you seem to actually never been outside America
You believe people in Australia who work as cleaners or janitors as you call them are paid low salary like in America ,you like to judge people who have working class jobs
You put people down who work in factories etc probably earning more than you a year
I'm a assets millionaire just like most people in capital cities in Australia who owns their own homes
All my colleagues I work with are multi millionaires even the security guard who sits at the gatehouse had over 4 million Australian dollars in his assets
Your in a cave my dear ,get out of America and get to know the world and stop thinking everything is the same as America where you earn $5 an hour and a "janitor " is considered low class by capitalists like yourself ,most Australians with "working class" jobs earn near 100k a year
so get off your high horse about Australian working class
most Australians get paid double time Sunday ,double time & half public holidays and double time after 38 hours a week , doesn't matter if you work at McDonald's or Kmart

The Police have become so up there own arce they should not be trusted with guns. Look at Tommy Robinson getting pepper sprayed at point blank range recently. The Police we have now are no good.
What I have seen I. YouTube of UK police is they are useless
Can't fight there way out of a wet paper bag yet Western Australia just employed 500 of these useless morons because Aussies refuse to work in outback Australia 🦘 so they employed 500 ex British police who will probably only last a few months before being run out of these remote country towns and head back to the UK
They are being employed to the Kimberly region of Western Australia, good luck with that ,better then than me
Mind you ....they will have guns just advised not use them in that part of Australia

So as this retired guy today I spoke to.
If someone was robbing a bank or 711 or whatever and was armed he had to standby and wait .....for the armed police
By the time they came .....
So we have a scenario here ...
A guy with a gun in Country side Australia robs a 711 ....the lone Cop turns up...pulls out his gun for him to stop.
A guy with a gun in some country village in the UK robs a 711 ....the lone Cop turns up......and sits in his locked car ....and observes
Of course he can always go out there with his pepper spray 😉

I was in a cafe today and spoke to a guy from the UK who had retired from the UK police
He was saying it's about time they carried guns there , apparently they have to call the armed police to situations.
He had been attacked multiple times and injured and no gun to defend himself instead he had run away some bloke with a baseball bat or knife coming at you
He worked in some village
I wonder how many country police in the UK have been murdered going out to situations and no gun .
Now take an example recently in Sydney Australia, the guy going through the Bondi beach shopping centre stabbing people, the first cop on the scene was a woman supervisor going for her lunch break ,she had a gun ,she <deleted> him dead ,
Now if that had been in the UK , she would of ran out outside and had to wait for armed police to turn up
How many more would of been stabbed waiting for them??
How long would armed police unit taken for the nutter ?
What if your in a country area .
I see a very weak police force in the UK and I feel sorry for them
Imagine going out to violent incidents with pepper spray
Apparently even the detectives there don't even carry guns
What a weak police union they have !!!

Unfortunately people nowadays are hesitant to be involved.
I think it's called the "bystander" effect ,where others wait for someone else to do something before they do.
A few weeks ago I'm standing at the bus stop in Australia waiting for my bus to go home from work , I'm still wearing my yellow work safety vest , she rudely says , "that homeless man over there has been lying there for hours and not moving ! Are you going to do something?
Obviously she must of thought I was a bus conductor or whatever , I said back why don't you
She didn't want to be involved but wanted others to
