Yes ! And many think renting a place outside the "city" areas are cheaper but you need to factor time and costs in transport to go shopping etc. I prefer to be close walking to everything, unfortunately Jomtien in Pattaya has only one expensive supermarket

Which entrance are you using ? They have 2 security guards in white shirts sitting out the front. Opposite is a mom & pop shop style shop with drunk farangs sitting out the front There certainly no facial scan Anyone can walk in there We are talking about the Arcadia Beach resort Condos on the way to Jomtien

And you will see the Condos balconies on pool level has no "gate" to their balcony which means my friend had his table removed to the pool by tourists There are two Arcadia Beach Condos ,one is continental and the other What about more expensive condos such as Copacabana do they allow Airbnb ?

Maybe this is why some prefer to rent

I just watched a beautiful video "stupid tourist" YouTuber who purposely got a Tuk Tuk from the Grand Palace who said he will take him for 20 baht back to his hotel but first....he needs to stop at tailor shops , a fake temple etc He ended up buying nothing ! The tailors wanted 10 on for a Armani suit And the Tuk Tuk was not happy Anyway he is a American guy with "balls" , he still paid the guy his 20 baht How many of us have been through this scam ? And let me add ,when he was outside the tailors , Tuk Tuk kept dropping off more n more farangs tk big suits who wanted the cheap Tuk Tuk rides but gave to look at suits first or Gem stores Why is thus still going on ?

38 cats ? Omg I am going to be honest with you ,they kill wildlife particularly beautiful birds so I don't like them. What still has me mystified was I was watching a documentary and this Irish bloke from Northern Ireland talking with a Irish accent saying "I'm British not Irish " Could of fooled me talking with a Irish accent! Anyway why do you want to be known as British ?. Especially if you have a Irish accent Hardly anything to be proud of is it ,If I had a choice I would rather be Irish As soon as they get that Union jack off the Australian flag and replace it with a Rainbow flag all the better !
