i went to check out makro and it is cheaper than rip off thai babushkas in rompho market.....and is very close also...nicely packaged...without babushkas and hungry russians touching the fruit.... i said to thai babushka to give me grinded ginger...and she just grabbed it bay her bare hands...not plastic glove....nothing.... once she told me to grab it myself from the bag...imagine some russian grabbing the grindedginger with his bare hands that smells of salmon and then it is your turn

yep the one with speakers.....i can only find them around jomtien beach...from pratumnak to jomtien..... and i saw one in front of our condo....but only once...I would buy from them every day.....i mean so cheap fruit....

hmm i saw veggie trucks but have same prices as rip off grannies in rompho market.... but fruti trucks, that is another story....but it is hard to spot them....i buy mango from them and melons all the time.....

there are these trucks going around selling mango and other fruit for 100 bht....and you get like 3 kilos.....it would be cool if some of us would buy together in bulk...and create the sample box with most of the veggies but for cheaper price...make a deal with farmers or something....

seems like the more touristy the place is, the more these grannies are greedy
