  1. Check list

    1. bars closed

    2. poor people re-located or hidden behind advertising hordings

    3. market stalls removed.

    4. destroy soul of city.

    5. soi dogs re-located (shot). Anybody remember the "we took them to a farm for holiday" quote?

    6. beggars and hawkers... "what beggers and hawkers? this is the hub of everything"

    7. clean streets

Last one they did in Bangkok when GW came, I turned up on a flight back from the US and I didn't recognise Sukhumvit Road.

Bangkok looked like a sterile boring drab city. Surprising what you miss when its not there. Can they destroy Chiang Mai in 5 weeks!

Asean will destroy the soveregnty of the nations and then the life of the whole poor people of S.E. Asia.

A new step towards the target of the new world order.

  2. Passports are government property.

Typical laws about passports declare that passports are government property, and may be limited or revoked at any time, usually on specified grounds. A limitation or a revocation is generally subject to judicial review.

Btw Boater, don't forget to make a copy of your new passport ( including the page of your new visa ) in case of trouble you can prove your identity  :o

I'm aware that the passport my be revoked , but I couldn't give it to them. The passport was revoket Also to Bettino Craxi but he didn't give back it to the italian autorities.

  3. Your passport does not belong to you, it belongs to your country of origin. Go talk to your home country embassy, they will know what to do.

No sir. I had to pay my passport , they didn't give me it for free. I paid 80 euro (it's not a cheap price) my passport book, and then the passport is mine.

A passport is never (As far as I know) the property of the holder, look inside your passport an you should find something that says just that.

When you pay money for a passport you are paying for the priviledge of being allowed to use it, it still does not belong to you though.

Anything thing that I get by payng money, becomes of my property.

  4. It is illegal to organize and promote sex tours or sex tourism in Thailand. This will be the basis of the charges.

    What are you saying?

Those people were doing sex in a hotel room. Then they didn't nor organized and nor promoted any sex tour.

That hotel must be ban and boycott by the western tourists.

Are you advocating swinging picketts? :o

I'm advocating of the freedom to do my own business in my private place.

  5. A bad surprise I got this morning. All the international tv channels are disappeared from Banglamung cable tv, and they are broadcasting only thai networks.

I don't know what's happened, but if they don't restore the previous situation I'll close the conctract with them.

  6. What shocks me is who can support these people and people who agree with this kind of protests.

Incredibly, a lot of Thaivisa posters support these thugs.

These guys are broken the law and they should be under arrest , but the police doing anything against them.

Because their belongs to the rich thai bourgeoisie who jut want to defend their own privileges. If they should be a poor people the police sould been already in action.

  7. Need to remove the PAD from the airport by any means possible... this isnt rocket science, this isnt that hard.

    -Cut power/water

    -blockade roads into the airport

-rubber bullets, tear gas, water cannons

    -jam mobile phones

Overwhelm them with a superior force. If you need to use force do so - after warning them what will come if they do not disperse.

I agree, the police behavior is very shameful

  8. It can really make a person very sick with worry, thats why doctors, even if they do have a concern about the possibility of Cancer, should all be trained to be cautious about suggesting it.

I agree, maybe the professional ethics is just an opinion for some thai doctors.

They only know the ethics of the money.

And I'm aware of what I say.

  9. Thank for your wishes to my gf

Anyway she’ll make some test as soon . I worked as a doctor in hospital in my home country and then I little quite about that, because I got some experience during my job activity.

But not my gf.. I explained her that is impossible to make diagnosis just watching the patient’s face. However she still understandably worried.

    Some people don’t know humanity.

  10. Last morning we went to a clinic because my girl friend suffering of some abdominal pain. She make only a talk with the doctor , he didn’t make any medical check , all of that takes less than 5 minutes. The doctor told her, that she could have a cancer .

He’s a very clever and a smart doctor ,endowed with divine powers , because he can make diagnosis without any medical check on the patients., but only by talk with them.

He can even say to a 30 years old girl, that she have a cancer.

I will denounce this criminal to the doctor council.

  11. If a work permit is needed, you would need a work permit for washing your car, cutting your grass, cleaning your windows, doing the washing up, etc etc etc....think about it.....it aint working really is it?

Theoretically yes, you need a work permit for most of those activities.

I remember reading an article about a year ago, where a guy was arrested, changing a flat tyre on his own car in a service station, for not having a work permit. :o

I heard some stories like that , but I can't believe in it , it's too much absurd. I don't think that the thais are so paranoid.

I make many homeworks in my wife's house.

  12. Today I went to Pattaya immigration for move the stamp to new passpot issued by local italian embassy .

I brought both passport (the new and the old one) but the official asked me a letter of guarantee from my embassy that declare that this passport is issued by themselves and that is genuine.

I phone to my ermbassy and they will give me the letter (no problem) , but at the same time they been amazed for that unusual requirement.

Have someone of you knowledge about that ?

  13. cyrilmadrid, a tourist visa will give you permission to stay for 60 days and you can get an extension of stay for an additional 30 days at any immigration office in Thailand (fee 1,900 Baht).

A non-O visa, if you can get it, will give you permission to stay for 90 days.

With either option you will in most cases be a little short of the 3 months you want. If you need additional time, with return ticket in hand you can then most likely get an extension of maximum 7 days (fee 1,900 Baht) or failing that, depending on your nationality you can do a border run (exit and re-enter Thailand) for a visa-exempt entry and get permission to sta for 30 more daysy.

    :o ??????

If he needs a few more days at the end of his Visa expiration he can probably get a 7 day extension if he has a flight ticket out of Thailand within 7 days.

They could (maybe) ask you to show the ticket regard the 30 days extension. In the case you be unable to show it ,they could give you only 7 days. But when you ask just for 7 days they give you the extension all the same.
