Dear George don't you have something of more optimistic to post?

Two days ago about Jffcct and now this inauspicious post.

The Thai government/administration/monarchy are probably quite relaxed about the present levels of foreigner residence (formally approved, or permitted 'de facto' on consecutive 'tourist' visas), but I would expect that they will keep the ability to take instant control should a big influx threaten.

They have a long history of being very shrewd operators at keeping their culture protected from external threats of one sort and another, and I wouldn't expect them to start slipping up now.

Well I may understand that thais want keep their culture, and I thing this is right. But the problem is, that certain resctrictive suggestions not made from thais but them made from foreigners., and that according to me is a very serious, matter.

Obviously I talking about those guys OF Jfcct .

Which is the source according to which ,the immigration bureau should discuss the suggesion from gfcct ?

I thing that suggestiion are too old , to discuss of it now ,and to worry about them.

However those people of the gfcc (foreingers like us) are just the stinking.

I read somewere that among the requesting papers for obtain a wp ,they asking a household registration of wife in the case you married, but that no request if you are unmarried.

I married with a thai wife and we planning to buy a house in the future , but at present time we living in a house on rent . Now I starting to ask a wp as a employee for a thai company. So my question is: what changes may I have to get a W.P without divorce my wife?

Usally you get the job first, and after by earning money you buy a house, not viceversa.

Well done; I think that they should must require the Hiv test too. If you have the aids, go out of the country.

Because about 20 / 25 years ago ,the HIV was unknown in Thailand , the western tourists carried it, in the country, infecting the thai girls .

But now if the tourist go back in his home country and if he has got the virus during his holiday, somebody will say :” look; him….. He has come back from Thailand and has taken the virus.”

The western media carry on getting those changes for throw shit on this country.

So I think that who has the HIV or other venues illnesses it’s right to prevent them to live in Thailand.

My post would be seem discriminatory for someone, and I regret for this , but I love this country and his people, and so, I became very enraged when I hear the western people talking bad, about the Thailand.

Well; not go too far. I may understand that some  aliens love Thailand and I still  understand that they could work for a few money. But not for free,because even Thailand have his costs of living,  not only  for thai people ,but for foreign too.

the Japanese really do look at a Thailand as a hardship post and so you'll have to compensate them accordlingly.

Since Thaksin take the office too much rules are changed in Thailand , especially the immigration rules.

For marriage visa from 200.000 k he move it, to 400.000 k , visa fee from 500 baht, to 1900 bath etc…

I think he like only those people have a very big amount money ,but if you have only few amount of money you non qualified for live in Thailand.

400k in the bank mean exactly what it says.  And it has to be confirmed by the bank and show a trail from overseas

About my situation is not the same. That means, nobody never asked me to confinrm and/or to prove that my 400k comes from abroad .

(unless you work here with a work permit). The income provision is primarily for those with local employment. If you are over age 50 there would probably not be much of a problem if you have income from overseas confirmed by your Embassy but if under there may be closer check to insure you are not illegally employed here. In all cases no set answer fits as usually they are not out to get you (even though they are police). Normally if the appearance of supporting your wife and a normal account use is met questions will be few.

But my question is:  if  someone does do it , so what happen?

If done during review and they check they may wait for it to reach 400k before approving full extension (but then again if only a little below they probably would not). They may be able to give you several short extensions if need be.

If you are unable to meet the 400k extension requirement the alternative is 90 day border runs after you obtain a multi entry non immigrant O visa from Penang or perhaps during a visit to your home country.
