  1. My wife informed me she read in the Thairath (not sure of the name) news that the Thai Government is putting before the next Parliament sitting, a new law that states, anyone who is found to be driving a motor vehicle and they do not legally hold a drivers licence, will be sentenced to 3 months imprisonment.

I presume this law would also be for Motor Bikes as well?

Mrs Mango said the same thing a couple of days ago ,

  2. Id theres a Thai watsadu nearby call in , they have a wide range .

they have a wide range of matte black handles ?

Well they have probably 70 or 80 different handle sets how many are matt black didnt count.

Fair enough ? or would you like me to go and count

  3. Two main shopping centres ,

    Central Festival and

    Jungceylon.

Google those and your good to go .

Might have trouble with the segway

    though.

For a more local touch try the weekend market in chalong.

Again google and thou shall see :-)

But for shopping if you can the mrs would love all the mega malls in Bangkok

  4. Your lawyer gave you bad advice for certain.

Why the hell wpuld you not register in the company name ?

Your insurance cost remains the same the only thing that increases is the road tax and thats approx 2 thousand baht more a year.

There is no precursor for personal use within a company owned car.

More paperwork , well yes a little bit absolutley nothing major.

When you come to sell you simply declare the value of the car as income to the company and pay the vat on the amount you sold the car for.

With a ltd company just ask tour accountant.

They will detail the procedure , it is just as easy as buying it individually , except of course providing the relevant company paperwork , registration , tax id , tax returns etc.

    All very painless and straightforward
