Depends on how little you're prepared to live on. I can live in Thailand on 20,000 Baht a month easily. Takes me just one sale of a 20,000 Baht product and my bills are paid for the entire month. It's not hard to get that one sale either. I just keep calling and e-mailing people until somebody pays up. Usually takes me less than a week to get a client. Simple. Anybody can live in Thailand because the bar is set so low.biggrin.png

Well youv'e nailed the buisiness acumen needed here then , 20k a month for your buisiness .

Of course less your social security payments , accountants fees , visa costs ( ie. Non B , WP ) overheads for running the buisiness , the list goes on and on ... and on.

For F sake that wouldn't even cover the gas bill

You my friend are a joke to reply to this OP.

Is it like hitting your head against a brick wall, it feels so good when you stop?

As a good friend has said to me many many times .....

  5. Recently a work colleague of my wife's cousin was in Phrae on business

when he pulled into a fuel station to top up,as he was leaving the station he noticed plastic protruding from the flap covering the fuel cap so soon as he was able he pulled over and investigated and found a plastic bag containing Yaba pills stuffed in there,he quickly discarded of them in some trash on the roadside and continued on his way. A ways up the road he was stopped at a police road block and the car and himself searched thoroughly and after not finding any thing they became rather agitated with the lead officer getting straight on his mobile to persons unknown, eventually they had to let him go as they had nothing on him. When discussing this with work colleagues from the district they told him they had heard of local police working with fuel station attendants to plant the pills and the police would pull them over and demand

30-40,000 baht in order to drop the charges. Not sure if this is happening in other provinces but something to remember when fuelling up your vehicle in the future

    Load of crap ,

Myths are alive and well I see
