A silinar incident happend to someone I knew in Australia. Fell through a balcony and busted her arm badly, requiring a metal plate to be inserter in her forearm. She got a large payout (I think 100K+AU) form the government as the house was her mother'd government house (and the bad railing had been previously reported but not fixed).

No, there is no chance of the v6 diesel being released in the Thai market.

PTT premium is also be 7. But PTT, along with Bangchak (Leaf), meet Euro 5 standards, so have a lower sulfur content. This helps with dpf longevity. think most tucks in Thailand are still Euro 4. Only a few like diesel benz and bmw use premium. My crv also used premium, but it can run on normal b7.

Children Aged 5-11 to Receive Pfizer Vaccine
DavisH replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Thailand News
I doubt there will be any forced vaccintion - even in my school, as long as 80% of students and teachers are vaccinated, the school can open. Even an antivaxxer foreign teacher was not made to vaccinate (despite protests from her students when they found out about it. -
Children Aged 5-11 to Receive Pfizer Vaccine

That's 18 months out of date. Children certainly do catch and spread the virus within schools and their families. -
You were trying to get a booster in June?

Omicron Spreads Fast Because It Is in Upper Respiratory Tract
DavisH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
We can only draw conclusions about severity when we see further spread across the globe. I dont think we can draw conclusion from South Africa, as their population has largely been exposed to the virus already (and vastly under reported, at that) and many of the vulnerable have already perished. In contrast, most Australians have not been exposed to the virus, so we will see how the death rate goes there over the next month or so. If it turns out that the death rate is less than that caused by (historic) annual flu, then countries should really open up. -

Absolutely no chance of that in LoS. -
Honda Civic Hatchback sales discontinued in Thailand
DavisH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Did I mis-read the article? I thought the article was stating that the new civic hatchback (11th gen) would not be sold in Thailand. -
I don't think the 3.0 is confirmed for Thailand as yet. I've only seen the 2.0 mentioned in the press.

Screws found in 2 of my tyres. Should I replace all 4?
DavisH replied to davidst01's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
So they are not too old then. The rubber will harden over time. With new tires if you can press your finger nail easily into the tread, I would consider them still useabe. This would be difficult to do with hardened tires. -

DavisH replied to davidst01's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
How old are th tires? At this mileage they will perform nothing like new tires. Is the tread still soft? My tread is noticeably harder after 38K kms (on a crv). Still plenty of tread and breaking still ok. Unless you are really strapped for cash, you should change them. -
1) Omicron has arrived in the UK earlier than Thailand. 2) There are almost no controls on the spread of he virus in the UK. It will spread in Thailand but at a slower rate, at least intially, as most are still wearing masks. If the numbers rise significantly, ecpect more lockdowns - shut schools and businesses.

Thailand reports 2,862 new COVID-19 cases, 37 deaths, 4,818 recoveries
DavisH replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
My entire school and staff were asked to test Sunday night? That is over 1000 people. And I'm sure many other schools are doing this. Ive had tests over the span of a month. But none of these negatives are reported to the government. Only the positive results. There would be hundreds of thousands of atk's done daily here. A coupel of thousand positive atk's is nothing. -
I think that's 50K US.

How expensive is it?

Thai drivers just can't understand what indicators are for...
DavisH replied to 2long's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
So, the same rule as we use in Australia - give way to traffic already on the rounabout. I wonder if any questions on this are in the licence test here. I wouls say at least half of the drivers treat it like an intersection. -
I dn't think 360 camera is worth fitting if a car does not have one. Not sure how easily it can be done, and it would not be cheap if it could be. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. ut looking at cars at the motor show, my wife noticed the larger cup holders in the civic compared to the honda city. There's priorities for ya LOL
