So do I, it’s where Mrs BM used to live before she became Mrs BM.

You got what you ordered! Viral "food drama" post amuses Thailand

No problem. As my French friend always says, “one egg is un oeuf”. -

Yes, many farmers do struggle, but even among those there are many (I’d say the majority in my area) who have chosen to stop burning and those who choose to continue burning. Rice farmers were making a fortune during Yingluk’s dodgy dealings and many could have built something similar to our humble abode if like us they don’t smoke, drink, gamble or have Mia nois. We certainly couldn’t have built it if we had <deleted>, smoked, gambled or shagged our hard earned money away. -

Nonsense. You're clearly part of the problem. I'd say a large number of farmers locally have stopped burning - are they "entitled"? I would say not, I'd say they were acting responsibly and those who carry on regardless just don't care, but hey, you just keep making excuses for them. -

Well done you. -
They may have children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters living in Bangkok, they certainly know the damage they cause but they just do not care one iota. This is half a kilometer from the PYB’s house and a few hundred metres from the local school and temple. No prizes for anyone coming out with the “they don’t have a choice” line as anyone who believes that for a second is part of the problem. The video was taken a few minutes ago in Suphanburi province.

Didn’t apply to Red Bull man though, they allegedly helped him escape! His car was just as deadly as any gun.

I don’t know about EMDB, will have a look. I have a lot of programs saved and I have them all listed on an Excel spreadsheet, which works for me. I add the date of next episodes, new seasons and shows, with colour coding for the relevant genre/box. -
One of the many joys of living in Suphanburi is the immigration office, always polite, helpful and efficient. Did my extension based on marriage on Tuesday, a junior officer checked all of our paperwork and glued our pics to A4 for us then ushered us inside to another IO who quickly processed it. I always ask for up to date documents and a checklist on my last 90 day report before the extension is due. Yesterday we had our home visit which was quite brief, amicable and efficient. We’ve never been asked for any illicit payment.

Pattaya/Jomtien Immigration

All good up to the last sentence. A Thai living in the UK for a fraction of the time I’ve lived here wouldn’t have to apply for any extension of stay, they’d have been granted citizenship years ago! -

Series 2 of 'We Hunt Together' reportedly started on Alibi last week, although I haven't seen the first episode appear in the usual place as yet. Trailer is from the first series. "A gripping twist on a classic cat-and-mouse story, Eve Myles, Babou Ceesay, Hermione Corfield and Dipo Ola star in our brand new psychological thriller. We Hunt Together explores the intoxication of sexual attraction, the dangerous power of emotional manipulation, and how finding a volatile form of solace in another can have dire consequences as two conflicted coppers track down a pair of deadly killers." -

Not sure if it's been mentioned on here but I stumbled upon a French cop show called "Cherif [Shariff]". There are six seasons / 48 episodes. I've watched the first couple of episodes and quite enjoyed them. "An unconventional and passionate police officer from Lyon, Cherif uses his own methods to solve crimes. He is paired up with a new partner, Adeline, who loves to stick to the rule book." IMDb 7.1 -

Quite common these days. I think that's a bit annoying but the seemingly ever increasing number of gap weeks in 'regular' type seasons is even more annoying for me. The latest example being when I looked for S09E19 of Chicago P.D. yesterday only to find it's not airing until the 19th of next month, four weeks since episode 18 and 34 weeks since the season opener on the 22nd of September last year. That's fifteen weeks where they've skipped episodes. -

A new show from NBC premieres tonight, "The Endgame", not to be confused with the 2012 show "Endgame". The trailer looks decent, have to wait to see if the show lives up to it. "When international arms dealer and criminal mastermind Elena Federova orchestrates seven simultaneous New York City bank heists, principled and relentless agent Val Turner vows to take her down. An outcast in the bureau, Val soon learns that she'll have to use clues from her own complicated past to try to decipher Elena's cryptic games. However, as the mystery starts to unravel and chilling secrets are revealed, Val begins to question her own sense of justice when it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems." -

......and the second series of what I found to be very enjoyable watching, the reboot of Van der Valk starring Marc Warren has just started airing / streaming. "Following a street smart and unapologetic Dutch detective as he navigates the lively and enigmatic city of Amsterdam, solving mysterious crimes using astute human observation and inspired detection." -

Long delays between series seems to be quite common now, it started before the pandemic so that's not entirely to blame. Fargo and True Detective are just a couple that come to mind. Slightly annoying as is the breaks between episodes and releasing of series in two parts, IMO. Back to 'Traces', as you say, TVC has episode 1, episode 2 is due to air in the UK on Tuesday. -

Series 2 of the Scottish forensic crime drama "Traces" has just started. "A chemistry graduate enrols for an online criminology course and learns they are studying her mother's case. She asks her professors to help her solve the case so she can bring the killer to justice." I couldn't find a trailer for S2 so here's the one from S1 ICYMI.
