  1. How did you get a TOU Tarif of 2.6 baht Mine is 3.5 baht + ft
  2. Sorry for the late reply. There were busy days with the 3 kids. Today there was a sunny day after all. Perfect for observing if the changes of the inverter settings made a difference. And what can I say? The inverter is still restarting when hitting 5.8kw output. A) it might not be the export Setting in my case B) IT MIGHT not be the possibly overheating of the inverter as I upgraded a stronger fan for cooling. So it must be too many panels output for the 6kw rated on grid inverter. Thank you for All the advice and Support. I really appreciate your Knowledge And ideas.
  3. The export to grid is turned on but limited to 2500 Watt. So there is always some demand. Should I put that figure up?
  4. It shows no fault. I just resetted the inverter the day before. It might be deleted. Let's wait for a sunny day and check again.
  5. Just adding some background info here: I guess the Solar panels are already oversized for the inverter. ? It's string 1 8x450w = 3600w String 2 6x550 = 3300 w I used to use only string 1 for quite some time and I don't remember having had these issues. Now with string 2 working that's when the issues started to occur. The inverter now also gets very hot. I added acrive cooling but arrow d midday tye inveter would hit 60° CELSIUS on a sunny day for sure. That's for your helpful comments JB: The inverter indeed never goes over its rated AC output. that's true. That might be it. Although there are some restarts when 6000w ac output is not hit. The thing avoit the voltage is what I still don't know how to figure out. Above I posted some screenshot of the 550w panels including some max voltage numbers. How to calculate it? Could high voltage surges cause some trouble here?
  6. We have got an INVT ongrid inverter (invt mg 6ktl-2m) and sincevwe upgraded more panels it restarts frequently when the inverter is maxing out about midday. It also gets very hot although we added a bit fan for active cooling. Is there is too much output from all the panels for the inveter now? Have a look - advice very much appreciated. The setup as follows: String 1: 8x 450w.mono panels String 2: 6x 550w mono panels
  7. How much is the cost to get a already installed solar farm registered with PEA/MEA (Let's assume 5kw 1 phase) Any "guesstimates"?
  8. Would you tell more about it? I think there are many members here who are keenly interested in hearing your Story!
  9. Why not bying solar farm stocks? There are some German solar-farmers stocks (that I own) The operate solar farms in different countries and they have a profitable business model. Positive cash flow. Paying dividends for years. Downside is, this business Modell is very capital intensive and has a long payback period. So rising interest rates will do no good over the long run. But who knows what the big thinkers will do with us and our money supply next.
  10. What I should to do, I assume, is checking if my solar farm checks all the requirements from the PEA. Thanks to crossy I checked the inverter list already. And my inverter is on that list. The engineer clearly stated that for 1 Phase house connections there is a limit of 5000w per meter. I got 8x 450w panels at the moment and would upgrade to 11x 450w panels = 4950w before applying. What about safety features of the solar farm? Is there a handbook with all.the requirements from.the PEA/MEA? Any advice?
  11. Quick Update what happened recently. We got the first energy bill for the Import/Export Digital meter and they are charging only imported units. The few exported units are not being charged. (The meter reader guy did not know how to read the meter so it took almost 4 weeks to get the bill) Furthermore I made contact with the engineer responsible for permitting solar systems from.the local PEA office and... there is no system to register solar farms at the moment. But he added it will be possible soon probably this year. So that's a good news if that would be true. Hands down. As I understand he will come to my house and check if the solar system is in check and that for no or no hight cost (whatever that means) So now is waiting time. I am.definetly aiming to get a permit to export to the grid and get the 2.2 baht/unit or what it will be.
  12. In my case they send out a ordinary PEA member the next day to check the circumstance. Maybe its time to stop exporting for a few days?
  13. Why are there are 2 different displayed number on the meter? What does it mean?
  14. Actually there is a CT installed. So it's possible to turn off export to grid. There are things I don't like about it. So I would only deactive export if that is really necessary. 1) the Inverter restarts often if there is not much consumption. 1 aircon and 2 fridges are running 24/7 and that is about 300 watts/hour. Which is not enough from preventing the inverter from.restarting frequently especially in early morning and late eveni hours. I think it's not good for longevity of the inverter either. 2) this point is my observation. Take it as speculation as you like. when power output is at a certain Level,it seems to take a while for the inverter to level.up.the needed output. This means more import from the grid overall
  15. Actually I think it's it is a fact that everyone has to admit that the energy consumption of the world is rising. History shows that energy consumption is always rising. And if there is a new energy source found,it never substituted another energy source. No, it adds up to the other sources that are in place. It happend with wood>coal>oil>gas> uranium> etc pp My point is, you never know what the big thinkers are up to. Especially not in Thailand. But it's an undeniable fact that Thailand will need solar power in the future. More so as the demonestic gas reserves in place have peaked already and its output is declining. There is more and more demand for LNG bow which is very pricey. (Thailand is heavily depended on fas for energy gernation)
  16. Thanks Crossy for sharing your Wisdom in this. In fact you were right. This is what I would say so far. (Did. Ot receive an updated Bill or anything yet) So what did the PEA do? They just send some ordinary guy to change the meter. And there is a digital meter installed now. The Solar farm is still feeding the grid. Giving free units to the PEA now. My idea is to visit the PEA office and ask politely for a Solar friendly meter to get some credit for the generated units. Not having many expectations with that venture. (- until a year ago the PEA did not provide this kind of meter here. Yes time is going slowly here in the deep Esaan.) Am I missing some important points here? any advice?
  17. The PEA found out that my meter is spinning backward. So they send some ordinary staff out to my place to check. I let him inspect my property, and he finds the solar panels installed on the roof. So he is saying that tomorrow some engineer will give you a call and check your place again. I'm asking if there is a problem. He is replying, "Don't worry. This was one week ago, and nothing has happened so far. Opinions, please. How will this play out, and should I do anything ? I got a position consumption on the meter about 100 units every month.
  18. I must admit your words are convincing about your view of the squint thai second hand auto market. I will offer the again lowered price of 680k thb which is my pain threshold. I have some more interested people recently which makes me confident that i can at least retrieve this price in a reasonable timeframe. If you accept this in my view very good offer, i would furthermore offer you to accompany you to the Khon Kaen Office of Transportation to give you maximum security when overwriting the blue book in your name.
  19. The new Price of the Mitsu Athlete came about 1.07 Mio thb. There are different models of Ford wild track. If its really a top spec model and the car does not come with hidden problems then congrats. Buy it. I will not let the triton go for 650k, sorry. I would be open for negotiation in a reasonable span when you come and see the car. You will not be disappointed.
  20. I don't believe you would get a similar clean accident free truck like this fot 600k May i ask you what brand and model it would be?
  21. Not yet. My wife got another baby last week und did not advertise. I will reduce the car to 700k thb and i would teansfer the car to you. The value of the car must be arround 790k referring to tanachard blue book ( without the extras like 18" mac wheels and optical improvements Its really a great car. Feel free to contact me for more Fotos 0842905582 Line-id: eddysacc1
