  1. The French police killed 7 and are now looking for the 8th terrorist.

The Thai police would have killed none and now be looking to fit up a number of people.

The French government have said and done all the right things.

The Thai government would have told the world not to worry and tourist numbers were up.

Can one ask why the Thai government are keeping an eye on Paris because they will take no notice of what they are doing as it 'isn't the Thai way'

Um, not quite. They blew themselves up, not killed by the French police.

by the way they wil die by the french police , one of the best in the world

  2. Did my tourist renewal at this location yesterday. After turning in my tm7 at the outside check-in desk, I went inside and waited about 2.5 hours for my name to be called. Overall, not so bad.

what time did you go ? my last tourist extension i make it was at the old place i arrived at 10h30 11am finish :(

  3. If NATO had stayed out of Syria this wouldn't have happened and we wouldn't have had hundreds of thousands of Syrians fleeing to Europe. Thanks a lot NATO.

Not only Syria....the madness started back when NATO trained Islamists to fight Soviets in Afghanistan.......Removing Saddam, Gaddafi and supporting Saudi Arabia are just some more stupid ideas.

everything is because of Bush Cheney only that

  4. Does this all mean that I cannot do a same day in and out at Poipet for my 2nd entry? (I have a double entry tourist visa).

If not, then how long must I stay in the other country before being allowed to come back in?

I am in a panick here. My stamp says I must leave by Nov 11 and I have to do my 2nd entry by Nov 12. Not sure what I should do here, but I need to figure it out fast.

You will have not problem doing an out/in crossing at Poi Pet now. Everything has been back to normal for some time now.

Good to hear that (Y) I hope Mae Sai is ok as well... I have to make my second entry today smile.png

    if you have a valid visa at mae sai no problem;

  8. I went on the 9 of November to Mae Sai border and made an In/Out successfully.

    My Thai history:

I had a 60 days paid visa which i used in Feb-Apr this year,

then i went to Laos for one month

and then back to Thailand again for 10 days via a land border, so i got a 15 days(as i am from Israel) visa exempt stamp on the border.

This time i arrived to Thailand by air so i got a 30 days visa exempt stamp

On the 9th i went to Mae Sai with a scooter, parked next to the gate, out of Thailand, stamp out, no questions, 500 baht and 2 stamps in a small office on the right side just after the bridge, a short walk back, filling the arrival card and waiting 20 minutes in a line for passport control. Stamp in for another 15 days.

    Whole thing took 30 minutes.

you be lucky so because i was there on 27 october and the guy outside the desk check all passport and people with no visa no come to the border
