You would not be denied entry if you were able to leave the country. There are some border crossings on the Myanmar border that will not allow you to leave unless you a have valid visa to use for re-entry.

You can do an out/in visa exempt entry there unless you have a total of 90 days staying on them this year. Your non-o visas and extensions do not count towards the 90 days.

you say Thai's won't let you leave with a VOA/visa exemption, if you got non immigrand visa and they see you not tourist ? they will let you go ? for have 30 day more

I believe there is a regular bus from Fang to Chiang Rai via the 107. Get off at Mae Chan to catch the bus up to Mae Sai. Also, and more scenic, local songtaews from Fang to Thaton to Mae Salong to Mae Chan to Mae Sai.

thank guys i know there a bus to mae sai and CR by greenbus but they go around 2 pm and i would like to know about the songtaews if they go every hour or no ?

i saw on the major cineplex website you can take the ticket in advance for the new james bond in next 2 week , so i hope they will do the same for star wars

Hi Ubonjoe, do the consulate in Savannakhet limit on back to back single non O base on parent to thai child? I am currently on my third non O with Savannakhet and my 60 days extension will end on November 8. Can I go back to Savannakhet for my fourth or is it better to go to Vientiane?

I see you've been getting a single entry non o 90 days and a 60 day extension.

Why not get the multi entry non o instead,you only have to border hop every 90 days then instead.

I know but I cannot get multiple non O is because I am not legally married but living together and my child is only 1 year 2 months old..so multiple is out of the question..

Sorry to post so much, but I spoke with a Thai border official today - asked him about 'day-pass' a.k.a. 'VIP pass'. He said 'not now, but probably next month.' He was friendly, almost apologetic. I don't know if that applies to Chinese. I assume Chinese can breeze through for day-passes.
