I have lived in Chiang Mai going on 10 years and think the local people are generally friendly... But I do find that when I take a holiday in Pattaya the locals seem to find irresistible!... They even frequently comment I am hansone man... ????

Is" cooking a frog"" a saying of some sort?
Sadly this analogy will be lost on any Thai immigration officer listening as here they don’t cook frogs... Here frogs are just thrown live into the pestle and smashed up with the rest of the somtam...

I would imagine that you were similarly vexed circa 1998/1999?
FWIW, Impeachment is proscribed in the Constitution, and, as far as I am aware, remains an option.
Obviously the Senate, and ~ 20-ish Republicans would have to vote to convict. Such a conviction would be "legal". And, FYI, Mike Pence would become president, and not Hillary Clinton.
But in our dreams they could impeach and remove both Trumps & Pence leaving Nancy Pelosi as President!

For example Ambassador Stevens comes home mutilated in a body bag, and crickets chirp. Ambassador Yovanovitch comes home with a pet lip and it's meltdown time. Bad optics I'm afraid.
Guess you missed the part where the room gave her a standings ovation at the end of her testimony...
Or more closer to home for you when Chris Wallace (FoxNews) reports “If You’re ‘Not Moved’ By Yovanovitch, ‘You Don’t Have A Pulse”
And stay tuned when next week on The Amigos we see “I hardly knew the guy” Sonlins Mia culpa about his first hand phone calls to the a Presidential burner phone...

No, it does not have to be dated the same day. It is supposed to be valid for one week. I have used a letter from several days before up to the day before to get the retirement extension. I have never used one dated the same day and never had any problems.
So Immigration did not also ask to see your updated bank book in addition to the Bank letter?... if so was your bankbook updated the same day or several days before you went in?...

Impossible I would say, unless you know where. She could be sharing a house with 3/4 others or even more. Could be a room on her own or sharing a condo, then you have the location aspect. So many variables, she could be paying anywhere from 1000- 15000 dependent on the variables mentioned.
More likely she splits the rent between 3/4 other guys...

Outside Big C (or in the covered parking area) you will see stalls selling car related stuff... They sell bulbs and will install it... Just had my headlight bulb replaced at the Mea Hai Big C for 300 baht..

But you would agree that one should get a Non-O sooner rather than later?...

If getting food poisoning often, though, might want to reconsider where and what you eat.
Easier said than done...
Sadly I can’t stop eating at my favorite food court stall... The one that sell rice and two topping choices from a buffet of several dishs that have been sitting at room temperature for a undetermined period of time...
Those curry dishes are delicious but occasionally brutal..
I suppose pre dosing a Cipro would not be advised?...

Many of the Lazada vendor are getting stock from other Asian countries... These are grey market phones most likely flown into a Thailand in people luggage... So there is no VAT being charged... I bought a Galaxy S10 from a vendor for less than 20k a few months ago... It was new in box but was in Korean so I had to change the language to English... but other than that it’s a great phone...
