Is there a fee i have to pay when i enter cambodia? Do thai nationals have to pay a fee when entering cambodia as i would like to take my wife with me just incase i get refused entry bk into thailand so i can then travel with her and get a plane ride bk in.

Yes i have a valid tourist visa which is currently on a 30 day extension (60+30) and would like to activate the 2nd entry.

I recently obtained my sons passport who was born in june 2013.
At the time of the application me and my now wife wasnt married. She didnt sign the form but i did get an email from the hmpo asking me to get a letter written from my sons mother stating she gives consent for my son to be issued with a uk passport signed etc.

Hi all, i would just like an update on what the current situation is on thai immigration letting people do border hops to obtain new visas/entries.
Im currently on a tourist visa with a 30 day extension which is about to expire and would like to activate my 2nd entry via poipet and was hoping if someone could clarify the immigration wont turn me away as ive been reading quiet alot recently on this forum that this has been the case with many people via land borders.
Im assuming i shouldnt have a problem as ive got a double entry tourist visa but because of recent events, it would be good to know if someone has done the same thing as what im planning on doing.
Thankyou

Used the office at thanya park yday to apply for my wifes thai passport. Very quick service took about 40 mins all in.

Update: i finally went and collected my sons passport yday which took over 2 months from when i submitted the application.
I made 2 additional trips to bangkok to submit additional documents requested by the hmpo.
They asked to see documents from my sons great grandparents showing how they became british dating bk to the 1930s as they would not accept my father was british by descent even though i provided them with copies of his old cancelled passports dating bk to the 1960's.
They asked for a consent letter from my sons thai mother stating she gives permission for him to be issued with a uk passport
My mothers natrualisation cert.
Alot of hassle but worth it in the end.

If they do deny entry it would defeat the purpose of paying and obtaining a multi entry tourist visa to stay in thailand legally for 6 months with extensions. Why should it matter the route one takes to enter a country weather land or air if they have the correct visa?

Would theu refuse entry bk into thailand if you have a 2 entry tourist visa??

Its not a tm30 as i saw this form seperatly on the desk at the immigration office. The tm forms clearly have the codes marked at the top of them and im 100% sure the 2 forms never had these.

No we took the forms back home and got them filled as its only a 20 min drive from the office. I dnt know what the forms exactly were as he filled them out in thai but my fiance tld me it was details about him on 1 page and me on another. Im sure if your staying in a hotel proof of hotel booking would be accepted but because i am not, they asked for those details.

right i got the extension done the other day at sakaeo immigration.
i had to provide proof of address in the form on my fiances fathers id card and page from tabien baan showing he is the owner of the house we are currently staying at plus 2 forms filled and signed by him.
copies of my passport bio data page, visa and entry stamp and arrival card plus fee. took about 30 mins in total.
question: the officer advised me that once the additional 30 days are up i can do a land crossing into cambodia from aranyapradet as this is very close to where i stay and get a additional 60 days plus 30 more extended if needed because i have a double entry tourist 6 month visa. I was under the immpression this wasnt possible if i do a land crossing and only possible if i fly out and bk into thailand. can someone please confirm this for me.

sorry if it came across aggressive that wasnt my intention :s been to thailand several times but have never heard of this form or any of my friends mention it. Will i be able to get my extension without this form?

Baxer how long ago was this? Im living at my fiances home and only have a letter frm the uk addressed to me there as proof would this be ok?
Has the fiancee reported your presence in her home using a TM30 form ?
No my son lives there and im waiting for his passport on a tourist visa. Whats a tm30 form and why would it matter for a simple 1 month extension?

hi guys i plan on getting married to my fiance within the next month and just want to clarify a few points with regards to this topic.
do i need to make an appointment with the british embassy in order to get the affidivet stating i can marry signed or do i just show up and get them signed?
do i need to make an appointment with the thai consulate to get the translated affidivet stamped by them?
do i need to make 2 copies of the affidivet, 1 in english and another in thai and get them signed by each embassy or do i translate the document signed by the british embassy and then go and get that stamped by the thai consulate?
can i do this all on the same day?
at the bottom of the form it says signiture of witness? does this mean i need to take somebody with me to the british embassy when getting the affidivit signed by the consular section staff? or would this be the signiture of the staff at the embassy?
thanks in advance for any replies

Hi guys a quick question again regarding extending my stay by 1 month as the initial 2 months given expires soon. Where exactly in bangkok do i go to in order to get the extension done? Do they ask for any reason for the extension of stay? And if i understand correctly i need to provide a photocopy of my arrival card and passport bio data page? And a seperate passport picture? Can some please clarify the exact procedure.

Just to update, i submitted my sons application at trendy yday. The lady going through my docs never looked at a single orignal document.
Took copys of:
British passport every page
Girlfriends id card and translation
Birth certificate for me uk long version
Sons birth cert plus translation
Girlfriends birth cert plus translation
Front page and 2 pages showing my gf and son from tabien baan. The lady didnt want pages showing the rest of her family she gave them back.
My driving licence and a letter showing my uk address.
Parents marriage cert and bio-data pages frm passports.

Paz, i had a tourist visa yes.

just to update on this matter, i travelled from heathrow on a one way ticket and wasnt asked to provide proof of a return ticket at heathrow or bangkok.

No it doesnt. Ive read ppls applications have taken as little as 3 weeks and some as long as 6 months. It all depends on the documents submitted according to each application and if it satisfys the HMPO to issue the passport. Good luck im submitting mine next week and will keep this updated
