  1. An altercation like this does not happen out of the blue. Belgian Man: Would you be so kind to move your car Indiens: Take out sticks and rocks and start fighting You exactly know that there's always a buildup, posturing, verbal escalation, pre-thread cues and such. And there came the sense of superiority in play, wanting to impress his GF, maybe Alcohol (an assumption of mine) and testosteron. I am talking about the pre-fight not the fight itself. Excuse me if that was not clearly written. Of course in a fight, MMA training gives you an advantage as every other martial art training does, there i agree with you. So, how this would have been solved in self-protection (not self-defense there's a big difference - self defense is implying that you are in a self defense situation already) when you are trained in self-protection, simply you wouldn't be there, the fight wouldn't have happened because you have the situational awareness and walk away from such situations, they are simply not worth it. I am also not implying non-violence per se don't get me wrong - if you are in a code red situation you have to neutralize the threat without hesitating but the key is always awareness. It can safe your life and kids still have a father and not a dead one who was a hero in a dispute over a parking lot.
  2. The word "false" was probably missplaced excuse me - But i believe that Martial Arts Training especially Combat Sports like MMA where the philosophical aspect is not part of the curriculum, is boosting the ego of young men. If you read the article there was another case sometime ago with a thai muay Thai fighter, also for a parking lot. I followed a similar case back home where also a Muay Thai fighter, a young guy of 25 years got killed because he had to confront some idiots who blocked "his" parking lot. That's why is say, MMA Training, testosteron, GF nearby and most probably also alcohol it's a dangerous mix. And the Belgian was indeed very very lucky - if one or even two of the others pulled a knife on him it's game over. Most important is to get home at the end of day to your loved ones. A blocked driveway is never ever a reason to risk your life.
  3. MMA is not self defense. In a cage there's a certain set of rules. What his MMA training did, was probably giving him a false sense of superiority and a lot of testosteron what lead to the escalation of the situation. Let alone the fact his GF was near and he wanted to impress her. If 4 guys attack with sticks and other objects with intention there's a high chance you get seriously hurt or even die. Well trained MMA fighter or not. If they really have mafia connections he has to look out for quite some time - all that for a blocked driveway.
  4. Are you guys happy with your MU-X or would you never again buy it? I am new to the brand and looking for no-go's, confirmations and any other first hand experience. I appreciate it - Thanks alot.
  5. I always crack up at such bigoted scenes everywhere in the world, but Thailand just seems to have the best ones. Right now over here in Isaan, it's the talk of the town, or rather, the talk of our village: The head monk has taken in two Black novices. Most villagers, who have never seen a Black person in real life, are in a commotion. "Should I give a Black person a wai? That’s unthinkable!" 🤣🤣
  6. Homevisits are only once on the first extension from my experience. If you move and you apply for the extension in another area/other immigration for the first time they make the homevisit again - the following years not anymore. That applied to Chiang Mai and now the same to Ubon.
  7. Source? URL's? You know how the whole monetizing thing works don't you? In case you dont: Youtubers get a share of click price that advertisers pay. I doubt Google allows clickfraud in huge numbers. A few clicks might be fraud but that does not pay an income. You can buy Subscribers from shady providers but a) subscribers don't matter at all - it's vanity and b) black hat and you would never risk to loose the channel to get a few thousands subscribers.
  8. I hear "Farang sii dam" quite often?
  9. Just copy/paste your comments from the thread 2 or 3 months ago about that scandinavian bloke i am sure they are still as funny
  10. Inside Man with Denzel and other great actors Kingdom of Heaven Both watched at least 4 times
  11. Not a millionaire but a nice to have bonus income trough a Youtube Channel. Wifey has a cooking show channel. I also handle some channels as an admin. In my opinion the Youtube peak time, where you could really make tons of money are long gone. Short formats like Reels, TikToks and YT Shorts are taking over. You can't really make money from those. If you can't generate at least 50k views channel-wide per day for an audience coming mostly from Europe or the US it's not worth the effort. I have seen plenty of channels fail if the only motivation of creating content is money. You have to generate value for your audience and until you have a loyal amount of viewers it takes years. IG Reels are merely here to create followers and subscribers to other services (probably only fans)
  12. We run a SME company and we outsourced all the accounting. From my understanding an Audit checks the books every year. Our accounting company forwards our books to the audit themselves. I have 2 questions about this audit: 1) Is the audit made from government represantatives or are those private companies that work for the government? 2) Is the rate for the audit always the same? What factors are responsible for calculating the audit rate? If its done by private companies i assume there are differences in rate? thank you for some clarification
  13. Can't help but think of this clip: Tourists and #IDIOCRACY
  14. --> never used this 60 day extension. I stay 7 years always with 1 year extension. When i left/came back always had a re-entry. I doubt you can get a 60 day extension after a 1 year extension - i might be wrong?
