I think the whole list of problems stems from a lack of a unified system.

Wall of Chiang Mai gave me one number, vaccine at McCormick uses another, Pink ID card uses another. All 13 digits

If all were tied to the one number it would make it seamless.

Still can't get the OTP - used all 3 13 digit numbers, would not accept Pink ID card but others went thru.

    Tried again today

13 digit given on Wall of CNX - did not work

13 digit on the Vaccine Form received at McCormick Hospital after second dose - worked.

Had to uninstall Mor Prompt and reinstall to enable me to input the different number

the jeep costed 15,000 baht to repair, no insurance cover; unfortunately my friend had borrowed the jeep from me...????

Your fault for not having insurance other than the mandatory.

And your friend should never have borrowed a car with no insurance.

That's a point, do the suction type stay stuck on screen film, our weee runaround has film on the screen (no, not dark stuff)...

Before we had the new head unit, I was stuck with the suction cup. And all its foibles.

Bought a dash mounted fone holder which had a Stainless Steel disc you glued on the back of the phone and a neodymium magnet on the dash stalk

Stuck the disc on the glass, glued the magnet to the suction cup holder.

    Problem solved

Automatic bike have contributed greatly to accidents for most never rode a bike before. Get the newbies off the road.

And how do newbies cease to become Newbies ?

With experience - we were all newbies once.

And how do you get experience ?

    Ride.

    Your comment makes zero sense

  5. Thanks

I read online that roosters hear at the 32 - 34 Khz freq

What I want to do is build something that can output that freq range - hence my asking for a broad 25-40 Khz range

Place a couple 3 or 4 Piezo tweeters aiming directly at them, and fire away.

Thanks for your explanation - I am trying to get my head around it !!!

Can the generator that simon kindly linked do the 2 square waves 3-4 Khz apart ?

All I really want is some peace and quiet in the morning so I can sit in my garden and enjoy coffee before beginning my day.

    Appreciate It !

  6. These guys say no, it don't work.

These guys say yes, it does work.

    Hmmm !

All I know for sure is that the mainstream media hypes the Bejesus out of it - for no better reason than to boost circulation via clickbait.

    They can not be trusted

Their philosophy - if it bleeds it leads, and if they publish in error they will state it in font so small and buried so deep no one will ever see it.

All they need to show is Absence Malice

  7. Thanks for the replies.

Found some tweeters which - they state - go to 50 Khz

Want to output an RF frequency between 25 Khz and 40 Khz, adjustable so I can find the freq that works best.

As I am a novice at this stuff, I do not know if I need pure sinewave, or modified (stepped), etc. A continuous tone will - I think - give me the output I desire. It does not have to be clean sound or anything - just adjustable RF output at the desired Freq.

I can not be more precise because - as said - I do not know what I want beside what I posted above.

Nobody votes? People are too stupid

    Your vote matters nothing.

People run for office, and their campaign cost is born by special interest groups. Who often back multiple candidates.

As soon as one of them wins, the backers are there with their hands out, and dictating policy.

Remember the Golden Rule - he who has the gold makes the rules.

    It was ever so

Can't change the facts, opinions aside.

"According to Rolling Stone‘s definitive list: 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, the Beatles’ 1967 album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band stands as “the most important rock & roll album ever made.”

Was never a Beatles fan - their music is Pop.

"We all live in a Yellow submarine" - give me a break !

Like most of what passes for music on top 40 stations now

    Now .. Led Zeppelin !!!

interesting canthai….wonder why my lady has not installed one front and back….. like done for the car…..will ask her…..definite gap in our protective armour here…… but before when I caught her planning to not insure our car and bike,  beyond mandatory CPTL when inspected / taxed, she said “ never have accident”  …. and shes a graduate ….

My hiway car has a Pioneer Android touch screen head unit.

    Accepts front and rear cameras.

Besides the insurance discount others have mentioned, peace of mind counts for a lot.

You will never be in an accident - until you are. Like wearing a helmet.

Forza I bought last year - 2014 model - even got First Class on that. Took a while to find a broker but it is doable - care not for the deductible, want the third party injury and property damage.

  11. Can not find one online which meets my spec requirements.

Maybe someone here has an idea - or the skill to build one.

    Good remuneration if possible.

25 Khz - 40 Khz - able to driver 3 or 4 tweeters at this frequency.

Probably Piezo style as these are available online

Any info appreciated - reply or PM is fine

    Thanks

Thats exactly why I bought my X-max.  A little out of the range monetarily though that the OP is looking at. a 300cc is about as big as one needs to get around in traffic here in Bangkok as hey are a wider bike and it can be hard to negotiate driving between cars.  I had a Click prior to this bike and it was a great bike around town.  The bigger bike like the Xmax does give comfort when riding outside of town, or even in town when traffic is lighter.

My Forza and PCX are the same width at the bar ends / mirrors.

    Forza 10cm longer - hardly a concern
