    When the one way opened we got on a bus back to the hotel. Driver went right to the end and told us we should have got off at a junction to pick up another one.To much hassle. We now just get a Bolt.

    I tried to change it at varies shops and supermarkets and even Banks. The Banks said that they would take the Note but processing would take a week or two. I finally managed to change it at a Post Office but only after some scrutiny by the staff.

    I asked my partner to pop into a currency booth to exchange Baht to Euro. I forgot to tell her small notes ! She came back with 500, 100s and 50s notes. 100s and 50s where ok but I had a devil of a job to off load the 500. 500 notes are no longer printed apparently.
