probably Thai are also aware of the fact that the self tests provided like the once that you refer to in the Netherlands not are accurate. Still many will slip thru, this is well known. Also in the news too that only blood tests are accurate since there are now mutations that are not even detected by the standard nose swap tests. the trest that provided you the so wanted certificated of being covid-19 free.
they are also looking in to the support of dogs as you know who can detect covid.
Also people who are fully vaccinated, these people still can spread covid as recently was in the new too.
all makes that we still have a long way to go especially due to the fact that we not provide vaccin to all People and all the countries in the world.
and when we are not willing to stop traveling and do all the is needed to stop the virus and quarantaine it within the next 6 months to stop the virus this wil become a long story or a never ending story.

i is well know that h mutation are wandering around and that asymptotic people spread. this can even been people who are vaccinated with with the covid jab. Well known and well document in the medical world around the world and the literature. Problem is the politicians not want to understand this at all. The best solution is to shutdown all, isolate and make blocks and then wait minimal 40 days before opening block by block. This has been proven many times that this works. Put a ban on traveling. Put a ban tourism. Vaccinate as much as possible in a short as possible time, all people. in three to sixmonthn all is solved. when you have enough vaccine. and the block they control the outbrake and help to stop..

when you are not planning to go to ASEAN AREA the changes are small that you will feel any consequences of you action. you do limit do yourselves in traveling. as well that you have to make sure that your home country or nay other country you travel to is not willing to execute the arrest if that is ordered by the Thai court. the court order itself has to be confirmed by the court of the country you live in or stay. still, possible they will get you legally deported to Thailand. Changes are real as well small. you can not predict the future.

you want to solve the air pollution on of the steps that helps is when have to removed the motorcycles out of the traffic as you see now happening in the west. they also say that one motor cycles pollutes more the a car does.

there are more then only this what they mentioned and they now start to use a blood test to make a prediction of who is having problems or even worse and will end up more death then living in the ICU and who is more lucky.
personally i have seen many the blood test tells more then how a person looks. the most around me who passed away where seen a healthy with no medical history and alwys seem to be healthy when had medical examination and still died within a few hours after arrival on the hospital. they walked in to the hospital en in just two hours died.

In most countries you can get an overview of the old passport numbers that where assigned to you. Mostly the foreingn affairs office or the multiplicity can provide you this certified overview.
With the renewal of my old passport they also printed on on the page next the ID page that this passport is the replacement of the passport with the number ... which was valid from ... until .. and the namen of the issuer.
Had this also printed in the passports before. have seen this also in other western passports the last few years.

TransferWise works fine is fast mostly in second inbound out bound as well have nice extra services that make all even go faster. as far as i know also very cheap.

works fine with me, even have bankaccount numbers with them with different currency accounts , mostly is instantly as in a few seconds from my account abroad to Thailand or the other way around.
pay in the fly and the fee is very low. mostly transfer from abroad to Thai account is most of the time just seconds, some times longer, they nofity you how long it takes to transfer to other bankaccount. all including the currency conversion in to thai bath

the problem is the media showing western style, the western way of living that Thailand has adopted in a short time. education and the length of education are all known for causing the birth rate dropping.
medial healthcare makes the gene polls survive that never would have survived.
medical health care also make that more children reach the age of 23.
so actually one couple needs to have 3 children also to compensate for the couples and singles that have not children or cannot get children.
because children look after the care of the parents and others.
therefore the best would be that children up to 21 years have full support to study, educate and learn and all older pay for this. But that is too social as we know an will not happen.

I am sure there are many other countries working on this proposal. As you can see the proposal is gaining speed around the world. Thailand being a major tourist destination can't be far behind.
Of course everyone is monitoring Covid 19 developments and I am sure will modify their position in the next few months depending on the data.
The big problem is that the people who are Vaccinated still can be super spreaders.
And the same as the flue you are only protected against the original and hope fully the mutations.
As seen already with the south african mutations the Oxford vaccine not work well enough.
And the Brazilian mutations is also the question.
Both are now spreading faster
Vaccinated or not you are still having the chance to get ill from the mutations or spread them

in Thailand they have special document that you can buy in good shops when you lent money to people. this makes is possible to get your money back when people not wat tot pay. and like in the rest of the world if they not pay back you can go to the police or court.
in general in Thailand when you are foreigner you are not allowed to lent to Thai people money (if that law still is in place). so the best is consider it as a gift and have learned your lessons.

Think this man totally not understand the problems that are there with vaccination and protection. just tje king of people who as long as their bank account is filled they not care about the problems.
SARS-Cov-2 (COVID-19) just showed the sources of spreading are just this kind business and they super spreading highways HORECA makes possible. also the recent events of last week like the closure of Perth australis is linke to traveling as well the recent spreading of the Brazilian mutation in Europe is linked to traveling.

Thailand itself is to expensive
Prices are at the same level or above of western countries. People want quality and fair prices.
If you can not do both and other can do it you lose the market.
Thailand think they are alone.
They forget South Korea started as a lower level compared to Thailand and see where they are now.

tweak and adjust is in this no protection guaranteed and also People who have got the vaccination are still capable off transmitting due to the level of protection when the vaccine is administered. 90% means that out of 100 people still 10 can spread the virus or get sick.
we all know the virus is among us long before it is detected or begin diagnosed.
the south African virus as well the British virus were already in place in november in some European countries. the Brazilian is just flown in by people who went to meet family.
all will work when all have had the vaccine and still new mutation will travel with them if they have the change. we are just having super spreading high ways with tourism and party events.

first of all around the world traveling is not recommend to stop spreading

nice and stereotyping. when you look in to the information available they forget to tell that they can see in the blood samples if you will have problems with the Covid-19 infection or not. also the SARS-CoV-2 targets on specific genes more then on others. that makes also that some people have nearly not problem and other drop death in just a few hours. This had nothing to do with age or overweigh, people just where 'normal weight' healthy living and just dropped death in 2 to 4 hrs.
children up to 13 have another way the immune systems works then people above 13. and this is the reason why they have lesser problems.
on Caucasian the vaccine works better study suggest the on Asian. and on Asian works better the on African kind of people. this is seen with other vaccines and medicine too that they work better for Asian or Caucasian and the other way around
this is why they have certain brands of the new developed SARS-CoV-2 vaccines only administered to certain risk groups and age ranges.

laptop is not old when it is 4 years old you can use them much longer. the oldest I have is from 1998 and still operating. was on windows now on a linux distribution. the one i am typing is now is from 2013 and has 16GB RAM and update with WD 3D NAND SSD 1TB. having brought this to your attention:
not sure if mentioned by others Thailand is hostile to electronics because of the cooling needed and the design temperature. most not unse air conditioner to control the humidity and temperature. this decrease the life span of battery pack and adapters. System cooling has to work harder and the cooling fans collect dust.
some things to do
take out the battery pack can show if the laptop still works
still be aware that some laptops will have a circuit that the laptop will not work when battery has been removed. even when the battery pack is dead.
sometimes the empty cmos backup battery also causes problems, dispite this is wierd and not logic it can be an issue that makes the laptop not work correctly. after replacing you always have to do a cmos reset to default values. then set the cmos to the needed value also can solve problems.
remove the ram bank from its slot and reinsert it. when possible swap it with another Ram bank that has the same specs.
also try another charger, sometimes the charger is broke. When you measure the voltage all seems to be right but is can not handle the load needed and the charges is actually not working as expected.
in the laptop there is a circuit that check the power levels. and when it not get the right power levels if also prevents to work or shutdown.
remove the HD from the laptop and try if it will boot. (of course will give errors) just ot see if the HD is not death and prevening the system to start.
the next sounds stupid but sometimes works.
remove all connections with a wire to the laptop, like usb, lan, sound, mice and so on and also the charger.
wait 30 minutes the plug in the charger and wait 15 minutes then press the power button.
can be the laptops starts working
most case the laptop will start to work again
