You need an account that allows instant access   and comes with a "bank book"  immigration want to see the book updated with and entry on the day you apply for the visa  along with a letter from the bank stating the balance that day.

In the past I used Krungsri Ayuthaya   but they where a bit unreliable in providing the required letter  so I switched to Kasikorn bank.

After you have been approved the visa extension you can use all the money  but will again need to show at least 400,000 baht  2 months in advance of next renewal.

How long is the 'under consideration' usually?

And, the bank letter must be dated the same day as you apply correct? Basically the bank needs to date it ahead of time.

Ready and waiting. The problem is the sheeple have no capacity to analyse, rationalise or question any of the garbage their governments and the MSM feed them.

You talking to the neo-liberal dem audience or the Christian right? They both be victims of the TV.

It is now totally clear that they do no longer require any dress code in niether police stations nor immigration offices.

As I look at the picture, it makes me think that the man might come directly from his ballet class.

Let me guess with such comment regarding another guy's choice of clothing...you're in that ballet class too.

They don't have a crackdown on teaching licenses. They have that for those without a degree or work permit.

I had to do an additional course for my license and had a sealed envelope from the university with me, which was enough.

To add to the comment about MOE not cracking down... Well, apparently MOE is beginning to deny teachers a temporary license even if you do have a degree and had a previous work permit with a prior school.

I'm on my last license and was told I may not be able to get another. What options do those wanting to teach and HAVE a degree to do if denied for a temporary license by the MOE?

Are Work Permit agencies a last option if one were to wish to continue on a work permit within a school?

They can not take money out of all the poor migrant workers from the Asean countries.

So they try to take more milk/MONEY out of the milky/MONEY cows, as we are for them.

I do not believe the western retirement visa holders is any burden to the country, but I believe the migrant workers is running from the hospital bills, and that we had to pay for.

I agree with the the first two statements.

The ending smells of conservative, often republican 'logic.' Blame 'our' expenses on migrants. "Hey what is there over there?!"
