Hey man don't hate on guys that are able to keep playing.    Onto another point...The 'one track mind' and long standing 'socially accepted norms' here would surely see to it that it will be back and thriving again once women are able to feel safer and all this cleared up. Why wouldn't they?

Hell, hopefully brings down the prices and quality of services that were around years ago. They got greedy with all these Euro (continental) guys giving em 5k for a single shot. lol

Keep it dirty and stay cool.

  2. I hope you stay safe. I'm so glad I don't have to be down there and although this doesn't help much to say what needs to be taken more seriously is how they gather people together like this continually. Even Thai people have to contemplate if waiting for a vaccine is worth it given the crowd of people compared to being isolated at home.

The government here is inept but I'd say most already know this. Money talks for these people just pay a service if you can.

One explanation which I heard for such behavior that some Thai women are bored with their life. And they think it's a good idea to spice it up. And after watching years of Thai soap operas they obviously know exactly how to make life "more interesting". And often they know their sponsor good enough to be able to predict his behavior and make a real drama out of it.

I would love to read a Thai female forum with articles like: Listen girls, I really gave him s@$@ today ..... . At the end he gave me another ring and apologized. What an idiot. Let me think about what I will do next. That will be fun.

'One track mind' is what I think of. I couldn't muster sitting and watching those shows but from what I gather is they always seem to have a plot of the husband cheating on his wife. Haha. There also are a few Thai women on YT who have this sort of attitude. But hey who can blame em.

Anyway, wise, experienced, and good post.

Thank you for the reply Ubonjoe. He was the supervisor who told me to leave the country and not take advantage of the covid extension. I mean, besides the extension fee, I'm spending around 65-80k monthly, more in some months. Planning to go back home in October but I guess the IO doesn't want us around anymore.

I spend less as possible and save my salary. 55555555

I think a bit of common sense would do you no harm my friend.

you see, I did some research before reaching my decision, not on vaccine efficacy, although surprise surprise that does get factored in, but on how Phuket has been managing its vaccination appointment system. Personal friends and threads on here revealed that sinovac is often offered, but AZ is offered when it’s available, which is quite often. And of course, I knew the Japanese donation was around the corner

and wouldn’t you know it, I have an appointment for 9am tomorrow at Saphan hin for an AZ. Another member of this forum is booked in at 1pm.

so my refusal to accept a vaccine which has low effectiveness against the prevalent strain in Thailand (delta) has turned out to be the correct decision. There is no need to blindly rush in to take anything offered if there is a reasonable possibility that something better will become available. After all, I am not in dire danger.

I guess no offense taken, but try not to lecture people on forward planning. It’s condescending given that everyone’s circumstances differ.

Nice. You should support more socialist policies then.

Plague Island is starting to become a totalitarian state within the state.

They need to relax a bit before holidaymakers are returning.

Exactly. The petty polices mixed with cultural issues I think are starting to be a real downer & deterrent for folks wanting to have a good time here.

But hey, it's not like that will change things..

“The business of America is business!” This often repeated phrase was reported to be first said by President Calvin Coolidge, in a January 1925 speech to newspaper editors.

Corporatocracy been the way in the USA every since

    noun: corporatocracy; plural noun: corporatocracies

a society or system that is governed or controlled by corporations.

I currently am reading 'Democracy Incorporated.' by Sheldon Wolin. How excellent it is. Given your post, I recommend it.

  8. What gets me is these Evangelical Christians or simply active Christians on the far right which compose mainly of whites that according to Chris Hedges foster 'hate.' Their adherence to boot-licking, the corporate state, the police, and religion brings forth fascism as we see it today developing within the US.

The only solution is to bring people together from all classes and backgrounds to 'fight' against the upper classes and those who exploit the working class. One who realizes this and can acknowledge this is a true friend.
