If you have a rental contract in your name you can report yourself, no need for a power of attorney
Glad that you found a solution for a problem which probably didn't even exist.
You said "The OI stapled a paper in my passport".
"a paper" as in "one" paper? Did they just throw the TM28 away?
I have a rental contract with my name in it and they asked me for the power of attorney. However, they still let me complete it and without a fine despite not having the power of attorney. I will next time though!

Try to re-enter somewhere besides Suwanapoom Airport. There they seem to be quite serious. Last week, I saw a westerner get pulled away from the line and asked the famous question "What are you doing here in Thailand?" Then escorted somewhere. As I mentioned above, have 20k cash on you. I'd like to add that from what I read too, don't sign any papers if worse comes to worse when coming back.
Hope you can get what you want!

Be sure to have at least 20k in cash on you. You can show them if they happen to ask.

I too was at Chaeng Wattana today doing a TM30. For what it’s worth, I’d like to share that I asked if a TM30 was needed despite not being away more than 24 hours as I just flew out and came right back. They said yes, it is still required. Lastly, despite having my contract with my name & the owner's, was asked for a power of attorney as well. But, still able to file successfully.

I hope you can get this resolved. As a previous comment mentioned, did you review the description of the product carefully? Lazada can have some shady sales at times especially with smaller electronics, IMO.
Keep trying to contact Lazada. I know from experience too, their chat service is terrible. Tried calling? Be sure to leave poor review if this is not resolved.
On another note, I would recommend just buying a wheelchair from a local shop. It will be new and you can see it right then and there before you buy it. They are cheaper than that price too.

No IO said because my O imm visa was processed and approved in jomtien I couldn't renew
in pathum thani, IO told my wife it don't matter what extension I was going to apply for.
That Pathum Thani immigration out of all places, is one of the strictest as far as paper work goes. From what I hear and experienced in the past.
Make a trip to BKK immigration and try again?

We requested a copy of the rules and were ignored
This is a clue. A clue to how shady these folks can be and without oversight, not to mention, professionalism training. They dont give a f*** Hell, even with. I would figure with such a transparent military running the show, a simple copy of the rules would be easily handed out. TIT

I used to never do my 90 day reports. I just paid 2000 THB and it was fine. However, as of late it seems they are more serious about this. I myself figured just to pay 2000, instead of making the trip down there.. ha lazy I guess. I wont be doing it anymore though as 5k isnt as convenient as 2k.

Seems as though the smaller medicine stores do not have this, Vitamin K2.

I have used Lazada often and have experienced no problems. Use the Cash-on-Delivery service.
Great suggestion! I will start doing the same. Lazada does seem a bit shady sometimes but overall for me, 95% okay. I say that because of products so maybe I should direct it at the seller.

understatement of the year award!
ok. I only carry my passport when I travel within Thailand. In other words, I am spending the night away from home.
I have a copy of my passport in my scooter and photos on phone. Thailand drivers license and motorcycle license with me all the time.
and 40 condoms, 20 hits of Viagra, cut in half of course, 10 gold coins, a .45 automatic and a bar of chocolate.
and in five years never asked except at hotels. and my drivers license was OK except in big Bangkok hotels and resorts.
*Favorite read of the day*
Especially the bar of chocolate.

Funny, I get treated just fine by all the above-mentioned. Maybe a quick look in the mirror would explain why the complainers get treated the way they do?
So your new nickname is pretty boy. ha. I'd say such a reply is similar to Thais. Good job. Ha

Seems the 60day TR and multiple entry is my best choice. Now I know what to do.
-
Ok I got it thanks for that.
If immigration at the airports or borders do not know when your work permit has expired then couldn't someone exit within that time of the permit?
-
This is what I have in my passport. If I exit again. I will say I am not coming back and do not extend it. Hopefully I can just be on my way. Originally, my trip to Cambodia was because I was told my work permit was cancelled however they gave me a re-entry. I never did this before.
Thank you for the help.
-
You have to go to the immigration office that issued the extension to have it cancelled. The termination letter must be dated no earlier than day you go to immigration.
If you go to immigration to a few days before the date on the termination letter they will post date the cancellation so that you would have time to leave the country. If not you would have to leave on the date the cancellation is done or pay 1900 baht to get 7 days to leave the country.
Thanks for that info.
So once I tell them my work permit was cancelled they will give me an option to pay 1900 for 7 more days or leave on the cancellation date they give me. However I wont have such a paper to give them. Hopefully they can look up such information.
My guess is they will cancel it and I'll pay the fee for 7 more days to do exit again but this time with out using the re-entry.
My 30 days on arrival have not expired and I still have a couple weeks.
-
I am experiencing a similar issue at the moment I think. If I am unable to get the termination letter are they able to look my work permit up to check its cancellation date.
If I go into immigration this week can I argue the point that I did in fact exit the country as my work permit was cancelled yet they used my single re-entry and extended my "admitted until" date well into next year?
Or maybe they will just hit me with the overstay?
Thank you in advance.
-
You need to get a termination letter from your former employer to cancel your extension. The letter would need to be dated on or after the day you to immigration or you will charged for an overstay for every day after that date.
The termination letter should be dated for when? The letter should simply state my date of termination. I then provide that to immigration at the airport when I fly out again correct?
Thank you
-
Upon receiving confirmation that my work permit was cancelled from my employer, I flew to PP to do an out/in and receive my 30 day visa on arrival. What has me confused is that I am admitted until well into next year, 9 months out. That same date ("admitted until") was also my work permit expiration date which can be seen stamped in already. They gave me a Non-B which was written within the visa on arrival stamp. Any insights would be appreciated as it just seems to be in such a gray/unclear area.
