Good. No need to mess with hired goons. Besides just literally throw money at them if they want it...????

The OP was offered ฿30,000.  If he’s not happy with that then he can look for a school that places a higher financial value on his contribution.  What someone thinks they are worth has no bearing on what a school is prepared to offer.

Art of the deal. Yeah it does but not everywhere. Also, depends on how desperate they are. Come on now..

I received the first check about this time last year. I have not received the 2nd or 3rd amount. I've used the "Get My Payment" website as recent as today, with no luck.

I did file for 2020 and I meet all requirements for those payments.

    Any ideas?

If you received the first payment last year w/o filing taxes you are 100% able to receive the next two.

The first payment if applied for early enough, did not require taxes to be filed. But if you are now trying to get them, it is too late. I believe this is correct regarding the latter. And one must file their taxes at this point.

Not if its too much, and your glasses get covered by sweat. Also too much heat can lower performance in the gym. Sweating does not mean fat loss it just means your body is cooling down.

I now moved my home gym to a new house havent rowed yet as im getting back into shape. Don't want to add too much at one go. Already doing heavy deadlift and squats worried that the rower might add to the lower back strain. (not pain but all that exercising targets the lower back too much and i might not recover on time for next gym session)

So waiting  a bit till im a lil bit further on in my training maybe a few weeks then ill be doing rowing on some of the non lifting days.

Sounds good. I'm envious of being able to to do rowing in the off days.  For me, I'll just go for a jog on off days. But, places are closed atm. Tired of all these closing and early hours.

Having a backbone, (as you put it) in Thailand and similar countries can be the fastest route to stress, high blood pressure, violence committed against you and potential jailtime. (I know, from personal jailtime experience...).

Some of us just like to have a quiet life and not rock the boat.  Their country, up to them.

Yeah I can appreciate this post.

I loved the place.  Always had a great time there loved the shows and betting on the hog races with the staff.

Many of these animals would be killed or starve in the wild they seemed pretty well taken care of at the zoo  Sorry if some think it is all about abuse and mistreatment.  But, Liberals always seem to have a problem with these places.   Hope hey can open again soon.

Yeah I'd like to check it out myself. I love zoos!

Now, when you say liberals do you also mean neo-liberals? 555

Zoos are prisons for animals which are not guilty of anything and which are condemned to be locked up for life only for the pleasure of a few human visitors and to enrich the owners of the place

Too bad people don't take more concern towards actual prisons and how people wind up in them. Like in the US.

If you truly believe you have a shot at the big time.

I guess this poster left his home-country to feel better about him self given his posts..which are at times patronizing while providing decent info. Making up for anything or just being the good pet. Tata, puppet.

For those of you are real teachers or not, stay awesome!

  9. I never had to do this and this is the first time I heard of it. I've had multiple waivers also. Their petty loopholes always change and vary. But the schools also may vary even within this process.

Funny, if they got a letter talking about how much you can improve the school's spoken English and it's professionalism while you just want to get in and get out for the salary. 555 Keeping it real for them! JK

Common wisdom dictates that 'job jumpers' aren't given 3-4 waivers.

I really detest this sort of 'combing' of foreign teachers. Especially in regards to earning. Totally disregarding any circumstances one may encounter.

I suppose I am a job jumper. Why would one want to stay at a place that is uncomfortable or demanding too much? TIT, I know. But that doesn't mean you have to 'praise' how it works here.

The OP should do well to know that some schools will still let you stay without a work permit. No one should be forced to put up with the antics and demands that are some of these schools.

You can try part-time also if you have a visa sorted out.

The mentality in these schools and bureaucratic loop holes seem to be very eager to know the history or amount of prior work permits one has. It can be quite the burden. Who would have thought given how big BKK is. But then again, TIT. Whispers is the name of the game half of the time.

@Lake PalmerI hope you can find a comfortable and decent place to earn at.
