Took about 30 minutes waiting for jab and 30 minutes resting afterwards.
Whole setup and staff excellent.- 1

Never had an issue, unless this is new or just certain countries, send overseas every week.
DHL available but more expensive and depending on content the receiver will get hit for import duty.
Yes be very aware of import duty, I sent some limited edition T.Shirts to UK and my daughter had to pay very much more than the cost of the T. Shirts.

OP - Covid vaccination. Fantastic at Central Khon Kaen today Tuesday 3rd August
Excellent control and flow of people, plenty of staff and help from KKU team etc,
I have multiple drug allergies, a pacemaker, HBP I went prepared with details and 2 of the young doctors asked questions and gave good advice.
In and out in an hour including 30 minutes resting after jab, -

Not sure if my post should be here or elsewhere.
Went to Khon Kaen on 22nd July to do visa then to Central to wait until the 3.30 train back to Banphai.
On the top floor there was a govt. group of people in co-operation with KKU regarding vaccination applications.
People I spoke to were very helpful and polite and my age -75- was not an issue.
Within 20 minutes I was registered for vaccination.
Regular daily updates. On 29th July I was advised that I was to come for first vaccination on 3rd August.
Wonderful.

Quinn's exists for several years already, quite hidden at a different location. It just moved to this location several months ago
Have eaten at the one out of town, good food BUT had to wait ages for it to be served, seems to be only one chef.
Haven't tried the new one yet. -

Another poster mentioned pausing/restarting a download.
This trick seems to work for me too (sometimes).
OP - Thanks, that seems to work sometimes

They are legally obligated to honor a living will. It is codified in Thai law.
Yes they are and perhaps we who made a DNR and have tried having it recorded in or hospital files should get a signed statement from the hospital ( e.g. copy of DNR ) that it has been accepted or not.
When I had a major stroke and I was first taken to the local hospital my friend gave them a copy ofmy DNR ( which had a copy of my DNR a long time previously ), they would not accept it until I "came to" which they did when I was able to talk.
Later taken to a hospital in Khon Kaen the doctor accepted - no problem.- 1

I understand what you are saying and you are correct, but my body, my choice surely.
Yes it is your choice but perhaps in the future it will be more common due to an overloaded shortage of facilities and staff. You could always consider donating your body for transplants.

My son, at age 37, had terminal brain cancer. He died over a period of two years.
His last year was not great, but his last six month were heart breaking for me to watch.
He was in a hospice and was basically in a vegetative state. He could do nothing.
The staff were brilliant, but he was not there. His brain had closed down.
I spoke to my D-I-L about it but her words were - I want to see him, and I want the children to see him, for as long as I can before he dies.
I understand where she was coming from, but it broke my heart.
DNR is my goal.
I sympathise with you, your family and your loss.
A DNR should not be a goal but a statement in writing, if it is a goal then you are not ready.- 2

It’s the relatives and friends that don’t agree to this.
My children and friends here are well aware and understand my DNR request which I made some years ago.

What if one has drawn up a DNR letter ?
I did some years ago and carry with me along with copy of passport and drug allergy list, also posted in full view in my house.
I have had only one hospital to date that has accepted or questioned me regarding the form placed ( ? ) in my hospital file. Hospitals have refused to accept / acknowledge the form in the past.- 2

You can use couriers but the recipient will get hammered.
Thaipost have a "rates" section, enter "destination" and weight and you have your cost.
Depending on what you declare as value Royal Mail "may" also stop and apply charges.
I used DHL to send a Limited edition T. Shirt to my daughter in UK, she had to fork out "Tax" which was much more than the item and shipping.
Could try post and put "no value" or a low value.- 1

Just use jdownloader. It's free open-source and has been around for a very long time (over a decade?) with a huge user base. It's also still updated nearly every day. It not only downloads YouTube, but literally everything else. It's extremely configurable and powerful.
Thanks, will give it a try.
I use ClipGrab too which sometimes downloads where 4K won't or is faster. -

I use a different downloader based on youtube_dl and have similar problems occasionally.
It looks like my internet provider 3BB detects/throttles?
When using a Singapore VPN I get a more steady download.
Not lightning fast (~100 Mbit/s) but good enough.
Orignally with 3BB IP I had between 300 to 500 Mbit/s.
Two parts as such is not new.
All highres youtube videos consist of separate video and audio streams. Audio tiny compared to video.
Downloaders will download them one after the other and combine them to one container.
Youtube of course would like to make the downloads impossible.
They managed to have youtube_dl taken off for a while but back up now.
Cat and mouse race.
Thanks for your comments.
I too use 3BB, that could be part of my problem.
Will look at using a VPN.Youtube seems to be using other tricks too.
I mainly download UK tv series for watching in the evening, find Dailymotion very useful. -
I have used this downloader for many years.
Recently it started to download videos from Youtube in 2 parts, the first part fairly quickly the second part very slow and often hals for some time at 10%.Can someone please explain why this is ?
I use ClipGrab as an alternative. -

No, no no, she is exhibiting the domineer gene to control and be the boss, also not having had puppies could lead to frustration with other females. just have her sterilized ( and the others) and she will be fine. Don't kill the dog, for just being a dog.
Agree and would suggest that PI Mee sterilized first.
You will need to take care of her perhaps separately after the op but, try not to make it seem you are giving preference to her otherwise issues may occur after.
Alternatively have all dogs neutered at the same time and keep them housed separately, expensive but you placed them in this position, the dogs are just acting naturally.Ensure they have collars.
You may find they will come in to a phantom season every few months after the op, thats normal.- 2

OP - thanks for all the posts and ideas.
Have tried a number of brands such as KC Healthy, there is a wide variation of oil content and when that is taken in to consideration the best bargains are not as they seem.
I also make a salad dressing containing tahini. -

Around 4k, water and electric are charged at normal providers rate i.e. no markup by house owner

Not sure where to place this. NB it is not my property.
Where ??? 50km south of Khon Kaen
I live in one of 4 houses in an enclosed garden, the owner and his family also live here, they have a further 8 houses nearby.
The houses are 2 bedroom bungalow style with car port and small back garden, large gardens all around the houses.NB It is a quiet and peaceful compound.
2 - 3 km from Banphai town, a small keep fit park and local clinic nearby.
If anyone would like contact details please let me know -
