I use a spray called 'After Bite' - it's a herbal spray made in Samui actually - works better than Tiger balm or anything else for me.

I get it from one of the local Pharmecy's here - here is the phone number of the producer 077-420535 (Palanda Group) - no website or email mentioned on the bottle

I get that in the states, basically Ammonia, I'm sure if you sprayed winded on ur skin same relief

Isaan is a very large geographical area and unless you have spent your 9 years living all over this vast region, your experience is just another unrealistic and sweeping generalization.

Unless you are talking about Nongbua Lamphu.

Udon, Nong Khai, Seka, Korat , Buriram, whatever...How many decent people have you met up there and they disappointed the hell out of you

I watched the game live from my computer.... relaxing in the village for a few days. Will go out and get my foot massage tomorrow... and crabs legs are more work than meat - - not my style but my wife has been making all sorts of foods for the family this weekend... will watch a movie then go for another walk... a lazy stroll this time.

I think he's talking Alaskan Crab  Legs...Big reward of crab meat

Never thought I' d come accross people of like mind on this subject. I gave up the booze 15 years ago and all the " spoongers and moochers" that went with that scene...(including the ones who are happy to come back to your home and have a big "knees up" until all YOUR booze is gone, then they slowly slink off.

But I came accross the same type in the form of lending out tools. Imagine guys who buy houses and condos but wouldn' d dream of buying as much as a hammer or screwdriver to maintain it...they would rsther borrow someone elses's ( and conviently seem to always "forget" to return them.

I even gave up bothering about having " social" friends. Most Farang people I have met here have one, and only one, favour subject........"themselves".

Better to have no friends here, Whackos especially in Isaan

Your talking crap. Have you ever told jokes to either Thai or Philippina women.? Thai women just do not have a sense of humor maybe they do but it has to be delivered in Thai.

Not true, my gf is hilarious and all my friends agree, I've taught her English for 3 1/2 years, when she starts laughing at ur jokes, your job is done

Hope the owners are prepared for the big financial hit they are going to take. Korat already has Tesco, Big C and the Mall etc but as far as I know there has not been a massive boom in the local population so they are going to be spread pretty thin trying to shop in all these places after the novelty has worn off. Not to mention the economy being in the doldrums.

And a New Central being built  , also

I finally went to Harbor and did go on a weekday.

Yes it was empty and kind of depressing.

I ate at one of the chain Japanese restaurants that don't have any other local presence.

The food was truly awful even for a chain place.

The novelty of an empty mall did have it's dark appeal but I won't be rushing back.

Looking forward to what the new MARINA place will be like and of course eventually Terminal One. When does MARINA open exactly?

Harbor Mall is a Joke and grocery downstairs better lower their prices or they will close soon, I would of hated being A vendor or store owner there, Depressing
