Next he will make an announcement families are safe in Thailand and the dogs have been told to respect tourists and not bite or attack. Tourism fixed and Finns flocking back.

"Listen kid, we know you nearly had your throat ripped out by a pack of rapid dogs, but here is an Iron Man mask and a digger truck. Now if you'd just smile and give us a thumbs up while we take this photo, that would be great"
Poor kid. He looks terrified.
Get well soon.
A room totally packed with strangers for a photo op would be quite traumatic for a 5 year old especially after what he has just been through. I don't see the point of so many people

Couldn't possibly squeeze another person into that room for the photo op. Oh and the cost of those toys have been added to your bill.

Reckon there'll be pretty good gate takings at the next Soccer match!
His only safe future overseas holiday destinations;
- is pretty much now Israel, or Ecuador...
He only plays in a local suburban club, amature social games. He isn't an international soccer player as the media tried to make out.

I think its wrong. This guy is a convicted criminal and a fugitive. Next every piece of garbage on the run will see Australia as the place to seek refuge from justice. I dont believe australia should be harboring fugitives

For those who think this is world news, in Europe but even in SG where I live, this is not at all in the news and probably nobody even cares. In principle I agree that Thailand should decide in court to be transparent to all parties. In general, imo it shows a lack of diplomacy that the Aussies play it via the media and publicly put Thai government under pressure. In Asia you often achieve the opposite doing so.
It was in the Australian media about 3 weeks ago for 1 news bulletin but nothing now.

Considering the football match was 30 minutes away from the police station and his teammates all said he stuck around with them after the match, he has a solid alibi. I suppose if he went directly from the field to the police station without showering or changing his clothes he could have made it. But with his teammates as witnesses, he has a solid alibi.
If it's so solid then he should go back and request a retrial. Why did he just flee like a guilty person and not produce this so called evidence.
-
Geez they are making it out as if he is some high profile soccer player. He plays socially at a local amateur club that no one had even heard of until now. He isnt really anybody but a fugitive from justice and it was Australia who tipped of Thailand and Bahrain that he had left the country. Australia doesn't want him back.

I'm sorry but who is he?

Well old hippy, you posted a sad emoji on my post, having been detained in a Thai prison, i am fully aware of the conditions.
This Aussie who wouldnt provide his full name is full of s++t.
Please let us know if you have been inside a prison here, and if so what were the conditions like.
Well according to do gooders in Australia who are trying to get a convicted criminal and soccer player freed they are barbaric and absolutely horrific. Prisoners sleep on bare concrete floors that are covered in urine and excrement without room to move, they are cuffed and shackled 24/7, no fresh water, no medical attention and only afforded 2 small bowls of old rice per day.

He's a convicted criminal and a fugitive. Send him to Bahrain to serve his sentence. Australia shouldn't be harbouring him.

All prisoners are chained and /or shackled in LOS because that's how the system works here.
Why is everyone jumping up and down in disgust about this one person?.
The power of social media over the sheep.
Most Australians couldn't give a toss about this convicted felon.
PM Morrison is getting ready for a Federal election and will use tabloid stories like this one to deflect away from domestic issues most of which are bad.
Agree its only the criminal support groups who are shedding tears

Top marks to tha Aussie pure he might not be the squeakiest of squeaky clean characters domestically, but kicking the diplomatic BS into touch and telling it like he sees it is really admirable in my book.
The Thais I personally know are sharing the posts highlighting the galling treatment of this man, I hope the pressure isn't taken off them, Thailand holds all the cards here in this case, it is simply up to them to do the right thing. But there is an issue we can't discuss that is surely having a key effect on this case. I hope the Thais are brave enough to seek it out and see it for what it is.
He isn't an aussie

AFL 2019: Malcolm Blight says Jack Watts could be ‘the worst No. 1 pick ever’
Australian Football Hall of Fame legend Malcolm Blight has delivered a scathing assessment of Power forward Jack Watts, claiming he “might be the worst No. 1 pick ever”.
A video of Watts snorting a white powder at last year’s Oktoberfest in Munich was widely circulated in recent days.
The Power released a statement on Sunday, explaining the powder Watts consumed was a legal substance known as ‘Wiesn Pulver’.
Watts then addressed the issue at Alberton on Monday, labelling the footage a “pretty shocking look”.
Watts, who won the Larke Medal in his draft year, entered the AFL with grand expectations after being taken by Melbourne with Pick 1 in the 2008 national draft. He was then traded to Port Adelaide at the end of 2017.
Despite threatening at various stages, Watts hasn’t developed into the AFL player many — especially Blight — hoped he could be at this stage.
And the North Melbourne great and dual Adelaide premiership coach didn’t miss when addressing Watts on Monday night.
“He’s 27 years of age, what he did — who’d want to do that anyhow and who cares. But what I want to talk about is his football career,” Blight told Sportsday SA.
“At 27, you’re supposed to get smarter and better. Of all the (draft pick) No. 1s, five years either side of him … from 2003 to 2007: Adam Cooney, Brownlow Medallist, Brett Deledio, best and fairest winner, Marc Murphy, best and fairest winner, Bryce Gibbs, best and fairest winner, Matthew Krezuer, great warhorse. They’re the five before him, head and shoulders above him.
“The five after: Tom Scully, works his butt off every game he plays, David Swallow, terrific player at the Suns, Jonathon Patton, when he plays — he’s had some injuries — but a beast, Lachie Whitfield, All-Australian, Tom Boyd, premiership player.
“That’s his peer group. You know where he sits? Screamingly last.
“He might be the worst No. 1 pick ever.”
Watts has endured a controversial few months after he was at the centre of a texting scandal in October.
Melbourne great Garry Lyon said the Power should sanction Watts.
“It’s been pointed out this substance he’s seen to be sniffing off the chest of a woman at Oktoberfest is legal. Now, they will investigate that, but the stupidity involved in this on different levels,” Lyon said on SEN on Monday morning.
“From a Port Adelaide point of view, they’d just look at that and shake their head and say, ‘Jack what could you possibly achieve from something like this?’
“It’s a legal substance and it is the off-season, but what a stupid look for the competition and kids that are coming up.
“We know that drugs are huge issue in society and sport. For the look itself, he deserves to be fined at least. From what we are told it’s not illegal, but the look is terrible.
“It’s not a hanging offence, it’s just a silly look.”
Nah McCartin already has that honour
