Bread flour in Chiang Mai
I make my own but mix the flour, water and yeast in a bowl then just let it rise for 2 or 3 hours. Flip into a 12 inch round pan and let that rise gain for 2 or 3 hours then in the oven for 30 mins at 200. Lotus flour is ok but I have found a cheaper variety at 29 baht. Add my own ingrediants eg, pumpkin seeds, rosemary, raisens etc. Soft enough for 3 days then good for toast, any longer then in the freezer. Tastes great, takes minutes and simple.

Bugs eating my chokes
Bugs going after my jerusailem artichokes and my bak choi. Tiny things only feed at night. I'm spraying them with chilli powder in water but not sure if this'll make any difference. Anyone know of a good organic pest deterent?

White potatoes?
I see them in Lotus and have tried to grow them several times, all unsuccessful. Anyone had any luck with growing them? Maybe too hot for them? Never see them in the market so maybe all grown in the mountains? Any ideas?

Best petrol lawn mower on the market.
Hi there I replaced my chinese petrol mower last year. It still works but after 8 years had been repaired several times but was still a good workhorse. Bought a new one on Lazada, very similar, lightweight, reliable and easy to fix. Cost just over 5k baht. Now I know what your'e thinking, chinese rubbish, Honda it aint, but I know I'll get many years outa this without breaking the bank. You choose.

Why long-term expats in Thailand say insurance is worth every baht
If they can find a way to not pay, then they will. I've never had insurance, kept healthy and did the right things. I'm so far in front of the game it's not worth bothering about, I'll take my chances and see what happens. My money stays in my pocket.

NATO Chief Urges UK to Boost Defence or Learn to Speak Russian
This is laughable if it did'nt come from such a source. Spending money on defence is good for the economy but Russia is a paper tiger. It cannot even take over its nearest neighbour even after 3 years of all out war. To think that it could roll its tanks into western Europe is ridiculous. Putin cannot win this war by bombing civilians and while he persues this course it'll be trench warfare that'll decide it.

Water filter
My well water leaves a heavy limescale deposit on the sink and the taps which is why I have never used it. Always used bottled water. I have been looking at water filters but there are many types and manufacturers all with different designs and methods. Can anyone reccomend a good product that they have used successfully? Cheers
