On a trip to visit Vientiane, we stayed at a resort in Nong Khai when my battery went dead in the same year, model of your truck. The property manager gave me a jump and I went into the town to buy a battery at a shop that sold many brands of batteries. The top of the line was Bosch which I bought (Recommended by the shop owner) and has lasted much longer than the others. Cost was a few more Baht, but you get what you pay for!! Just Saying . Good Luck!!

I use the Non-Immigrant Visa Category “O” to get around the requirement of the Insurance like the "O-A". I do not mind leaving Thailand every 90 days or so to visit other countries in SE Asia. Now with Covid-19 all visa's require $100,000.00 insurance. Hopefully things will change with Herd Immunity and or a Vaccine probably next year.

Good Deal!! Thanks for the "INFO!"

If buying used, take the Truck for a spin to a an automobile mechanic and have him look it over. Otherwise buy New and get a warranty.

For Retired U.S. Military: Non-Immigrant O visa for Foreigners who are married to Thai nationals or foreigners who are children of Thai nationals with an urgent need to travel to Thailand. Thai Embassy Requirement #3.5 Medical insurance or letter from employer guaranteeing that the insurance company or employer will cover a minimum of 100,000 USD (or equivalent in other currencies) of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that applicant contracts COVID-19. Make sure you are insured via TriCare Overseas and get a letter stating TriCare Overseas will cover your insurance cost of $100,000+ for your stay in Thailand.

Bee-keeping
in Isaan
23 hours ago, Billy Bloggs said:Hi all
I will try to keep adding to this thread when I can, Im stuck in Oz doing my time to make my pension portable(12 months to go).
I want to keep bees mainly for the pollination benefit for our small farm.
Im over for 4 weeks in April so will do some leg work while there.
Will then write about my adventures, if anyone else starts please let us know and keep us informed, we promise not to steal your pollen.
I am interested too. Please let me know your findings. Looking at a possible two hive operation with maybe the Free-Flow hives if possible. ????

Your Topic kind of caught my eye, I too live in (Orlando) Florida, just arrived via Turkish Airlines last night from JFK (JFK-IST-BKK), and my other home is in (Ubon) Isaan with some of the same lifestyle governed by choice and or circumstances. My Thai (Ten years younger/Married 40+ years) wife and I have decided that we want to live in Thailand for six months and the United States for the other six months traveling in both places. We own our house in Ubon on 11 rai. When I pass, she will receive a Survivor Benefit Plan (SBP) from the U.S. Government-USAF and probably sell our home in Ubon and move back to the United States where most of our family (Grandchildren, etc.) live. We are blessed and you are too. I would hope that you can convince your wife of your desires and come to some type of agreement where you two can just enjoy the good life in your golden years. Best of Luck!! ????

Rural enough for us to live 20 KM North of Ubon with easy access to Medical/Dental Facilities along with shopping. Love traveling throughout Thailand/S.E. Asia with a periodic trip to Europe. My Thai wife and I spend six months here and six months in Orlando Florida RVing around North America. We are Blessed to live our Retirement Dream in our "Golden Years" here in Thailand.

I haven't dealt with them and notice their post has dropped way down on the busy facebook feed.
Search for kumkun.kaikei.1 on facebook and you will find their page. It shows in Thai script and has a photo of a chicken.
Thank You-Got my Brother-In-Law calling them now. Have to be especially careful to buy Healthy Chickens these days. ????
