I just ordered 2 new credit cards from Navy Federal Credit Union that give 1.75% cash back and just got approved. I can also keep my old card that gives 3%cash back on restaurants! The Navy Federal Credit Union has updated my mailing address to Thailand so my delivery and billing address are now the same. I can now buy on line with Lazada and I will dump my Capital One credit cards. I thought the trouble was coming from Kasikorn and Lazada but now I am sure the problem is with Capital One! Must be the same issue with Chase.
Not sure what the issue is, but I sent all info on Asean Now website (CC) stating all problems with Lazada to "LAZADA" online Chat with a Thai mailed letter directly to Mr. Dong the CEO of Lazada Thailand/Vietnam. Not sure if any of this will work, but at least I have gotten Lazada's interest. Last Chat was Lazada was sending all my info to their Finance.

I finally got to an "Agent" at Lazada "Help." I had to do a screen shot (prt-scr on my PC) of a Chase Visa Transaction and posted. Agent ask me for my last four on my Visa Credit card plus my passport info that I screen shot off a photo with my email to verify my account. Lazada will email me with the results. "GOOD LUCK!"

I did not realize their was another site with the same Lazada-Thailand problem. Here is my last comment from my site. After exhausting efforts through Lazada and my Chase (Visa) bank, I have decided to write the seller when I get into the "Payment Pending Box." The message will be short and credit card specific: Please contact "LAZADA" and them verify my Visa credit card through "CHASE BANKING FOR PAYMENT"-Thank You.

I have been shopping through Lazada for several years now and find it very convenient buying especially during Covid-19. I charge all via my Chase Visa from the USA without any problems. However this year upon our arrival I made two purchases that went through and after that all my purchases have been put into the the penalty box of "Payment Pending." I tried several times switching Visa credit cards to "No Avail"-Still "Payment Pending." I finally went onto Lazada chat and wrote to an agent that told me I needed a Thailand credit card to do any purchases after several postings. Not sure if any of you all have had the same problem but it looks like I'm in the "Payment Pending Box" with the only solution is "Cash on Delivery!" Welcome back to Thailand. "LOL"

With a 60 day extension that would allow about 150 day stay.
A 30 day visa exempt entry, than a 30 day extension of it and the 60 day extension would allow a total stay of 120 days.
Ubonjoe, So your saying the above is a much better way to go concerning my 107 day stay.

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife.
What visa will you be applying for to enter the country or are you entering visa exempt to get a 30 day entry that can be extended for 30 days.
If you enter visa exempt the insurance will only need to be valid for 30 days.
I will be applying for a NON-O visa for 90 days.

Do you have a valid visa or a re-entry permit to enter the country? If not how do you plan on staying for 107 days?
You will need the $50,000 for the length of stay you will get when entering the country. You can find insurance at the age of 75. I think many people are getting travel insurance to get the insurance.
By the time you need to purchase the insurance and apply for a Thailand Pass there may be more choices for the insurance available.
You will need a vaccination certificate to prove you are fully vaccinated so you can do the test and go one night stay in Bangkok.
Info is here for the Thailand pass is here. https://www.mfa.go.th/en/content/thailand-pass-faqs?page=5d5bd3cb15e39c306002a9b2&menu=5d5bd3dd15e39c306002ab1e
Thanks Ubonjoe, So the Insurance is "Health Insurance"- $50,000USD. My plan was to get an extension for the 107 days, Is that possible?

Hi, I am kind of confused on subject, do I need Health or Covid-19 insurance for $50,000 USD to enter Thailand. Planning ahead for departure from the USA on 27 December and trying with extension to stay for 107 days at my second home in Ubon. Married to a Thai, have my 3 Pfizer shots, will be age 75 in December when I travel which seems to be problematic since insurance it is hard to find at my age. Please recommend Insurance companies that will insure me. Thanks in advance. "Happy Travels."

Thought a non O only got you a 90 day stay?
Can you extend?

So to be clear (I hope), I will be traveling on the 26th of Dec with a Non-O visa staying for 107 days-I will need Covid-19 coverage of $50,000 USD for the total stay of 107 days.

You don't say what area in Thailand... that would help.
If it's a beach resort no issue..
just tell him to smile at anything he fancies, she will do the rest.

Planning on leaving the US on 26 Dec. 2021 with a Non-O Visa (Hopefully Multi-Entry) but my only show stopper is the 100,000 USD insurance. The last stay I did (2 April-22 July 2021) I got insurance through ASA for $800 for which I did not use. I will be 75 on Dec 18 this year which could be problematic. Appreciate any help and thanks in advance. "HAPPY TRAVELS!"

I have found in the last 10 years or more in my retirement that most Expats married to a Thai have not taken the time to plan to take care of their spouse after death. I usually find out at the funeral that their is nothing left for the spouse. No pension, No Insurance, No Medical, Not authorized to the checking/saving account (One signature account) that another family member is asking for, and house in the expats home country with a reverse mortgage, if their is one, usually not. Pretty pathetic and embarrassing when your friends Spouse starts asking "What do I do Questions!" I have a "To Do List" in a binder to help my spouse take care of this business. Don't wait until you're “old” to do this. Just like you shouldn’t wait until you have a child to buy life insurance, you shouldn’t wait until someone is near death to prepare for it. Everyone knows death is inevitable, but no one can predict when it will happen. People die unexpectedly all the time. Being prepared in advance will greatly ease the burden of those who are left behind.

For me, I am living a "Great Life." I am blessed that I worked hard early in life and saved as much as I could and now do not have to worry. Money to me is "Disposable Income" that gives you freedom. My expiration date in life is approaching and I plan on having as much fun traveling and giving some back. That's my personal meaning of "Comfortably."

On the 13th of July I extended my Non-O visa for 60 days for 1,900 Baht in Ubon. I traveled back to the US. on the 22nd of July. My Covid-19 extension expires the 18th of Sep. May I return before or must I reapply for another Thai Visa? Thanks in advance.

When I arrived in April with a Non "O" Single entry (That is all the Thai Embassy in Wash DC would disperse) I went ahead and got an extension for 60 days to the tune of 1,900 baht due to Covid-19-Nothing else. Planning on my return in the fall. What would you all recommend??

"MAI PEN RAI"-i I agree with BritManToo:
"My thoughts are everywhere else appears worse.
And if you're just thinking COVID, everywhere else is a LOT worse."
I think you need a vacation. I just left Thailand after entering in April with all the requirements of COE, ASQ (Marriott-Lucky for only 7 days being Pfizer Vaccinated), Non-o Thai visa for 90 days, Insurance 100,000 through AXA, PCR test with letter Fit-to-Fly, Airline tickets, etc. Our plan for years has been to spend six months here in (Ubon) Thailand traveling throughout Asia and Europe and spending the other six months RVing throughout the America's from our home in Orlando and we will stick to our plans. Try to feel and give only love and compassion to every one; you will be happy. Don't judge or hate anything. You will be unhappy-"GOOD LUCK!!"

Dr. Donna Robinson moved to a new location for the Covid-19 testing at Sukhumvit 26, 1/2 Attha Kawi 1 Alley, Sukhumvit 26, Klongtan, Klongtoey, Bangkok 10110. (next to S&P Restaurant & Bakery) at a Dance studio. Located on the second floor of the building. We were number 74 and 75 entering (at 10:33L) with a line gathering like Thai's wanting to get out of their country due to the situation. Very uneventful, took us about twenty minutes to pay, get screened-now waiting for our results tomorrow. They are taking credit cards only. We paid 2,600 baht each (Total USD $159.01) for second day results. Good Luck and Happy Travels.

Thanks for the info. I am not done with this, in a couple of weeks I will travel to BKK on my way to Koh Chang with various stops along the way and go to Lazada headquarters and talk to them directly. After all I am retired and have time on my hands. I'll try and get in to see Mr. Dong-It will be interesting to say the least. PS: My Chase works still at Big-C, Lotus Tesco, Home Pro, Home Hub, everywhere else with "No Problem."
