He doesn't have to go to immigration if he has a yellow book . But if he's being difficult don't buy it . There's tons of bikes where you live.

i'll check if he has a yellow book. yes the guy is stubborn but its a nice looking bike and a reasonably good deal. i'm in surat right now myself and no other bikes i can find that i like here.

  2. i'm thinking of buying a 2016 forza 300 for longer trips like phuket to samui or even phuket to hua hin.

i've test driven one and it feels very comfortable and powerful compared to my PCX but interested to hear from anyone how has toured extensively on a Forza.

i've toured 10,000km in Mexico on a CBR500X before which was great but i want a low seat automatic now. my main concern is the heat frankly, i ride a bike every day but mostly short trips and use the car for longer trips so not sure how i feel about been out in the sun on a bike all day.

    thx

  3. i checked at the amphur here in koh phangan and they said all i need is a medical certificate from kpn hospital and they can give me a letter to travel.

thing is i don't fancy riding a bike back, i'd rather my wife came to pick me up at donsak ferry terminal in the car, but not sure she can leave phuket because she has a phuket address. we are trying to find that out.

  4. i've been stranded in surat (ko phangan) for ever and want to get home to phuket. i have a phuket address on my driving licence and my wife has a phuket address and tabian baan. she's home now.

does anyone know if i can drive home now? what docs would i need to get through all the checkpoints?

    thx

I recommend that you overstate the interest income from a real bank account enough to create a small tax liability which you direct the IRS to take from your US bank account.  The IRS already has all that 1099-INT from the banks.  They will take the small payment from your bank account and by and by, compare it to your 1099-INT from the same bank after which they will inform you that you have overpaid and refund the overpayment.  In the meantime the IRS will have your bank info.

You can e-file for free on the turbotax website or on the IRS's own website.  Duckduckgo is your friend.

thanks, turbotax required you to have W2 income i think, but will try another free one

  6. i'm stuck in Ko Phangan at the moment, debating coming home but don't want to get in a mini bus so thinking of driving my friend's Wave 125 back, that would be fun! if corona does get me a sore behind will.

thinking i should just stay here
