    I would guess that is the crop burning that is the major problem - the air quality really gets bad around this time. And they say this every year - the pollution ramps up and they come out with bold statements, then rinse and repeat

    I had the same problem, so I made a claim with the consumer protection board and I got the refund. It was for a 7,000 Baht item.

    actor has a specific meaning, it means someone who acts, so nothing changed. And you do know words and meanings do change over time, right? It isn't some plan, it just happens.

    Probably treated her like this because she was Cambodian. It is bad enough for Thai women dealing with the powers that be, let alone foreign women or girls - especially poor ones. Really disgusting of the police to interview her like that.

    I can imagine every 3 months that have to visit CW immigration to show proof of their YouTube videos, Instagram and TikTok posts to a moody immigration officer who doesn't know what they are. And the only proof accepted will be signed photocopied scans of social media posts.

    I used these vans a couple of times before, from Rayong to Bangkok, but never again - they drove like absolute lunatics.

    Then you can dispute the fine and show them the actual law - I have before and didn't pay. Now I have a Thai licence though, as I stayed longer than 6 months.

    No, why would you need an international translation if the licence is in English? Plus, it is the law here - you can use a licence from your home country if it is in English for around 6 months
