  1. Researching W1209 Temperature relay controller with buzzer as alarm. So the controller power a buzzer at the set temp. Pink Pink
  2. Yes i have set JK BMS temp sensors on each breaker so it will stop charge/discharge if hot. I did see some limitation because of the parallel connection will still feed some power to the hot breaker. I will try find a stand alone sensor with alarm/warning if hot. Pink
  3. Need a year with all seasons to get the full experience on the current setup..but as for now i kind of wish i had got 320A batteries instead of 280 and also that i had added a few more panels. The last part is still easy to change. I was getting the best effect from the panels 6-7 months ago and lower effect when its the hottest season. 7kwh vs 6kwh now. Pink
  4. Im just able to get recharged ( 2 x 280A)from day to day now. Production around 40Kw/day. I really feel the difference in charge current when 2 aircon running most of the day. Some days Im not even fully charged up before sun down, but its like its just going around. Pink
  5. Its good to have solution who can save the electronic but in my case I was mainly thinking about safety for my family since i have my inverters and batteries inside home. Pink
  6. I was looking into this: DAYTECH SM12 9v claim 1 year battery life and DAYTECH SM06TA 3V lithium battery 17335. Claim 10 year battery life Pink
  7. Regarding danger of fire on solar/battery equipment: Any of you mounted smoke detectors to early detect any smoke? Pink?
  8. By electric bill use to be from 38 bath to 1xx bath a month. So i use 0 to 5 units per month from grid. Pink
  9. Hello This was taken care of asap as soon I discovered it.. Now also with temp monitor on each breaker. Pink
  10. Looks great. Congrats with your new panels and batteries. Pink
  11. Thanks for your input...I was wondering exact the same..if this just will continue. As for now the plan to get this temporary improved and working/running. Then next step I would make a plan for improved setup who also should be ready for adding more batteries in future. When I calculated and built my setup I was quite sure I would not need to expand it in the future but after experience the hot season with less optimal sun direction and school vacation with kid home and run his AC, I'm more open for the idea to expand capacity. Pink
  12. Update: Temp coming down again.. after tightening the 2 screws. Learning something everyday..i will keep my eyes on this, I even consider placing 1 of 2 temp monitors from each BMS on each battery breaker. Pink
  13. Checked my battery breakers and found that the breaker i cleaned up yesterday was normal temp but the other one was very hot and so also the wire from breaker to battery. I was able to tighten the screws some and hope that will fix it. Pink
  14. Nice progress. Waiting to see more on your battery building.. Quite a upgrade you are on. Pink
  15. I just thought that would be the best option to parallel without connect with breakers. Please suggest options for parallel connection. Edit: I also have option to parallel between breakers and BMS. Pink
  16. My plan now is to connect the battery cables between the 2 inverters for parallel the batteries. Pink
  17. Correction: distance between battery wires down from the 2 inverters are 55cm. ( red to red and black to black) Pink
  18. I had a "almost" issue today.. I closed down the 2 bms with the pushbuttons for the bms but when i checked with voltmeter i noticed it was still power...then i see the connector to the bms for the power button had slided out so it had not power off as I expected. There is 70-80 cm between the battery cables i want to parallel, and they are short ( inverter to breaker), so i guess i must use cable between them not just the copper bus bar. With quality thick copper battery connectors i might could connect 3 of the them on a bolt with nut? ( 1 to inverter, 1 to breaker, 1 to parallel then same in the other end of parallel cable) Pink
  19. Thanks for the reminder. My system is up and running again now without the parallel connectors who i will find another solution for. I will fully charge my batteries before parallel them again. Pink
  20. Yes that could be the route to go now. Connected between breaker and inverter. Do you see any problem to run the setup some days without parallel connection between the batteries? Pink
  21. Lug and wire look as when it was new. Wire is 35mm2 but expand when remove the protection around and not easy to handle at all. Pink
  22. I can confirm the coloring is just outside and im able to sand off a good part of it. I have just removed my parallel connection between the breakers and will find another way for doing this. I guess i can still use the the setup temporary without parallel batteries? Pink
