Gee, I wonder why that happened? As information on this event starts to leak I suspect we will have many more questions about strange coincidences and inconsistencies. Where Trump is concerned, you can’t take anything at face value.

Don’t talk nonsense, and stop ignoring the valid point being made. After the SS realised there was an attempt on his life they would never let his face and chest be exposed the way it was. He would be covered completely with bodies and bundled into a van … not staged for a photo opportunity. There were many people around him, more than enough to hide him from view.

No, but he would be in a more serious election battle should Biden step down. And as support drains away from Biden that was increasingly likely. A decrepit Biden hands the WH to Trump. A new candidate is far more dangerous.

They simply thought Biden was the settled candidate. But in recent days even his closest allies are abandoning him. A new younger candidate requires a new attack strategy … and that might not work. This could never happen in the US? I beg to differ.

You are pathetic. As ever you deliberately misinterpret what is being said. if you are on the security detail you don’t know who the shooter is at that moment (professional or novice) nor do you know if he is a lone wolf, or part of a team. So once he misses he or they don’t get a second chance at a shot. You smother Trump throw him in the car and leave.

My point exactly … not a professional … that explains why he failed. Who put him up to it? And how could he get into that position at all? As for Trump being covered. Only initially, but no competent professionals would allow him to stand up and fist pump … he’d be covered and bundled into a vehicle. Not buying the narrative being pumped out in the media.

Then why use a 20 year old? If you were serious about killing Trump you’d use a professional. But it works the opposite way … an inexperienced patsy easily explains away why the attempt failed. Trump comes out of it looking like a martyr. Oswald publicly stated he was a patsy, but never lived long enough to explain what he meant by that. Dead men tell no tales.

I'm questioning whether he even got shot at all? Mike Flynn specialised in Psy Ops, and he’s on the team. It’s not beyond these criminals to engineer a stunt like this. Biden is close to stepping down. A new younger, mentally sharper and vibrant candidate was not in the Trump plans. If the game gets harder he’ll milk this incident for all it is worth.

The problem with conspiracy theories is that quite a few of them turn out to have some truth to them. But the term “conspiracy theorist” is regularly used to dismiss anyone who would suggest that the dominant narrative about an event is questionable and requires further investigation. Gulf of Tonkin, being one of many examples. I’m perfectly fine with you not appreciating any opinion expressed by me.

My point - they don’t know if it’s a lone assassin at this stage. They couldn’t possibly know if there was a second guy in the crowd with a gun, or on another nearby rooftop. How a 20 year old with an A15 got on top of a roof close to where Trump was speaking and gets off a range of shots despite people in the crowd pointing out his whereabouts is a question that requires answering? Not buying it.

A professional sniper would have taken his head off the way he was handled and exposed after the “shooting” … and as I don’t believe his security detail are that incompetent, I’m afraid I’m not buying this event as anything other than a stunt for votes.

At this stage we don't even know if he was shot? The way his Secret Service detail behaved was bizarre ... he would have been smothered in bodies and thrown in the vehicle ... not propped up for photo opportunities. What if there was a second "shooter" in a different location? I'd also like to see a close up of his injury, as a bullet, even a grazed one, would leave some permanent damage. So no, I'm not buying this until I see some hard evidence.

We need to see the evidence. Any group capable of insurrection can stage manage an event, and they couldn't care less about casualties. Biden is on the verge of stepping down, and Trump would be up against a more vibrant and energetic opponent ... that's not what they were banking on. Desperate times require desperate measures.

You could probably add Dutch to that list. There's not much between the two teams. England have a better team on paper, but Spain are in form. Could go either way.

We all need to ask questions about what actually happened today … and not automatically believe what we are being spoon fed. The whole event looks staged … the only beneficiary is Trump. Looking forward to reading through the details in the coming weeks.
