Read the attached.
So you are saying someone stole his wallet while he was riding his motorcycle, before the accident? Grow up.
This is the problem with this forum, uneducated comments from members.
Keep your nose out of business you know nothing about, being too lazy to read the article then making antagonizing comments is childish and I'm fed up with your type, leave me alone.
All of you antagonizers, leave me alone, I don't make offensive, stupid comments to your weird, fairy-tale comments or mythical investigation thoughts, I have a laugh and move on.
It's not worth replying to that.
Chill out and keep taking the tablets. Have a nice day.

I'd been riding big bikes since I was old enough to get on one. But here in Thailand, I have a 125cc.
Pattaya isn't the best place to get back in the saddle. No doubt you've seen the way they ride. My advise is to get a basic 125cc and get used to it before joining the daily free-for-all.

Another member with speculation and hypothesis.
I always look forward to the great detective work by our AN members.
I'm offended at times by the speculators and their theories.
I'm offended that you say 'presumably no wallet'.
These references are offensive, if you want to investigate the case I'm sure the cops will offer you their evidence.
At times some members make comments trying their best to belittle other members, this must be stopped.
This is my opinion and that of other members.
Sure, This forum is about voicing your opinions but to belittle others unacceptable.
About 3-4 years ago, a woman was killed whilst crossing a busy dual-carriageway near me. When the emergency services arrived, she had no ID or bag, and yet she was on her way to 7/ll to buy a few things. It was 2 weeks later that she was eventually identified, by a local man who had seen her walking towards the dual-carriageway on the evening of the accident.
UK Rules posted what we all know was a likely scenario. Unfortunately, it happens too often.
Maybe you should get out more and see the real world, and give the other posters a bit more respect.

As far as phone scams are concerned, I don't answer the phone to anybody not in my contact list. Emails the same - If it's in the spam box, I delete it without opening it. I've even had spam emails with the names of family members in the address. Text messages the same; I get them every day, but delete the obvious scam texts.
I always adhere to the above rules, and I've had no problems at all.

Last time I went on one of those death traps was over 10 years ago. The driver was doing 160kph along the raised part of Bangna-Trat. A week later, 6 were killed in a crash on the same section of road in one of those rockets, and I vowed never again would I get in one; probably why I'm still alive in the Land of Smashes.

Ah before Rong Poh market..... Sukhumvit not a Rd to cross on foot and certainly faster traffic there.
Yes, and 114kmh is probably normal; I travel along that stretch quite often.

I tried to find soi 12 on Google Maps but could not....is it around Sawang Fah? Sukhumvit is lit but not very well, I think they are the old yellow type not giving out much light. There are also traffic lights around that area.....114 kph would seem a bit fast for that built up area. He admitted the road was very dark but felt 114 kph was suitable.
The GPS N13.010465 E100.930822 is on Sukhumvit north-bound, about 800mtrs past Route 36, between Soi 14 and Soi 12, although Soi 12 is about 500mtrs further-on; obviously the reporter's eyesight is about as good as the reporting.

If that's the picture the Thai local took, somebody needs to tell him that the dark skinned woman is nothing but a shadow. I hope he was breathalysed when he handed-in the photo.

Just take your new passport, and bank book. I did mine a couple of years ago with kasikorn, paperwork up the ying yang, sign here, sign there; you might want to take a packed lunch!
I can never understand why banks, immigration offices, car dealers, you name it, have to waste enough paper to destroy a forest every day.

The way to find the owner is if you happen to cause injury to it! Then it becomes the much loved family pet! I am rather negative wrt dog ownership... not a day goes by that I am not disturbed by one of my neighbours dogs going at it...many nights sleep too!
Two of my immediate neighbours have dogs that don't stop barking. One of them howls most nights anywhere between 2 and 4. I can't remember the last time I had a good night's sleep. The owner also has a few cats that constantly <deleted> in my garden, and cause my 2 dogs to throw a wobbly. In fact, I'm completely surrounded by dogs, and mine are the only ones that don't bark all day.

I've been bitten by a dog twice, and both times, the owners said the dog wasn't theirs; but I saw them feed it every day, then leave it to roam the soi.
Most Thais have a dog as a must-have accessory when they buy/rent a house, but they won't take responsibility for it.
I have 2 dogs. I take them out twice a day, and pick-up their mess. But I'm the only person in the village that does that; if I just let my dogs out on their own, my ears would be burning permanently.

I checked the pickup parked next to me today to see what they had in the back of their truck. All I saw was about 10 loose empty bottles of beer in the back and an umbrella. How some can just drive around like that I have no idea.
The umbrella is a must have, for keeping the bottles cool.
The 10 empties were probably only the breakfast session; do another count later.

About two dozen Myanmarese workers should do it! You'll fit right in!

MG is an iconic British car brand.
The vehicle is built by Saic motor-CP in Thailand.
But the MG Headquarters is in Britain.
Get your facts right! The British HQ is owned by the Shanghai-based Chinese state-owned automaker, SAIC Motor, and has been since 2005. MG cars haven't been made in The UK since 2016; They are imported mostly from China, but also Thailand.

Buy insurance: British tourist issues warning after moped crash!
The headline is a bit misleading. Is it the British Tourist issuing the warning? That's the same as saying, "I can do what I want, as long as somebody else is paying"!
If she didn't have a licence to ride a motorcycle, which is quite likely, why was she allowed to rent one? The rental company should be made to pay her hospital bill. After-all, it's through their all-too-common greed that she had the accident! Word would soon get around, but I suspect it wouldn't make a slightest bit of difference! Motorcycle rental companies are a law unto themselves; it'd be like telling a Soi Dog not to eat.
