f If you have any more information please enlighten me and the rest of this forum? "Tragically, after several days, he was found deceased. As of now, Thai authorities have not released details regarding the circumstances or cause of his death." The best part of 3 weeks and we still don't know what happened to him? Either he was James Bond or why would there be such an intentional mystery around his death, you seem quite clued up about this disagreeing with everything everyone suspects so reckon you should tell everyone your theory.

This topic should be closed , it is either clickbait or speculation, given I have a friend in the embassy that know nothing about this

Trump’s mad, mad, mad, mad world—now with extra madness
PomPolo replied to webfact's topic in World News
No offence to the reporting, but it definitely comes off as biased. Throwing around terms like ‘ethnic cleansing’ is heavy, it’s not as black and white as it’s being framed here. What actual evidence is there to back up claims that Israel is committing ethnic cleansing? Are we talking about mass graves being found like in WWII or Bosnia? or is this more about political and military conflict? Because they are two very different things, or even reporting bias. The term ‘ethnic cleansing’ isn’t just dramatic, it’s subjective unless backed by solid, undeniable proof. Context matters are we looking at forced displacement, military actions, or actual attempts to wipe out an entire population? Big difference. Trump had his fair share of controversial moments no doubt (the whole ‘new Riviera’ comment comes to mind) but let’s be real Americans knew what they were voting for his foreign policy was always going to shake things up, and people either love him or hate him. 'ethnic-cleansing' is just outright wrong need to look at the facts. -
Trump 2.0 -- Exponentially more damaging than Trump 1.0
PomPolo replied to Jingthing's topic in Political Soapbox
If this wasn't a US only post and international post I would say Liz Truss who was the UK's temporary prime minister for a couple of months before she got kicked out, introduced a mini-budget that made everyone worse off, tanked the pound and crash the stock market, quite an achievement in a couple of months, Trump is a beginner! Trump 2.0 will pay off in the long term for the yanks and hope some of his sensible Woke, Gender, LGB and Immigration policies will rub off on the UK! -
Hahaha OK I probably deserved that I could go into it into a bunch more detail about why Trumps Muslim (not allied) friendly countries would not cause an issue in world security as the previous poster suggested. It would take a whole new topic 🙂 audi Trump is buddies with MBS, Bahrain closer to Israel after the Abraham Accords and Pakistan formerly with him having a relationship with Imran Kahn obviously not now but a similar common goal towards Afghanistan but that is always up and down. Turkey buy Russian stuff, Jordan hates Isreal and the US are still killing stoopid Iraqis that don't learn etc. but Iraq still hate ISIS nearly as much as the US do so some common ground there!

British husband of the Thai ‘Lady of the Hills’ bailed - video
PomPolo replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Oohh someone got out of the wrong side of the bed this morning. No I am not or ever have been a duty solicitor, but I can actually read! Bail conditions can be set pre-charge and often are so you are incorrect there. Given he has another relationship and work here it would not be beyond the realm of possibility he might want to leave sounds like they have nothing on him he may want to go to Laos that has less favourable extradition with the UK so wondering if the passport is in his bail conditions is valid I would say -

It's a fair point the article doesn't say but I would imagine with his connection to Thailand that would have been part of the bail conditions. -

This is completely true and has definitely happened before when I took my x-wife back to England I caught her sleeping around I didn't bury her in the hills though I just left and went back to Thailand and left her in England, I never spoke to her after that, by the sound of things exactly what he did! My x is however alive and kicking in Thailand now one of my friends told me that did stay in touch with her. I would prefer to wait and see what they actually have on him before condemning the guy. -

If they haven't got any in 20 years it's highly unlikely they will get anything new, I hope they haven't just arrested him for no reason and they do actually already have credible evidence and information, it sounds like they can;t even prove she was murdered never mind that he did it. -
Not to mention on depending where you read the story the bar he was at keeps on changing, in the missing story there was no mention of the hotel he was staying that only seemed to appear on Facebook with the poster saying no CCTV available which I highly doubt in the center of Bangkok.

You are probably going to get a lot of feedback about this post but it was pretty much everything I said in my previous posts in the now unavailable thread. I relented a little since it has been reported here also. But still can't shake the amount of inconsistencies and lack of information available about this.

I would agree with this and what Sheryl said however it is just a continuation of the lack of information available since this story surfaced so it is impossible to speculate why they would want his body back in the UK. I agree with a couple of the previous posters, I haven't converted to Buddhism but rather than go back to England when my number is up from a personal perspective and I have already told a bunch of my friends here and family back home that is what I want, I would have enough money to repatriate myself or my close family could do it without expecting people to donate. I want cremated and my Ashes scattered in Thailand which is a country I have ended up loving more than my own, and even though I wouldn't know about it would prefer to stay here. Whatever reason has caused this sad event there are actually quite good medical professionals in Thailand that could probably tell immediately what has happened unless there is some completely unknown and sinister reason behind it. RIP James

Why should anyone feel bad? It is a freedom of speech forum unless you are a Labour MP? Also there was still a high possibility he could have turned up safe and well. Most of the comments were optimistic and not pessimistic, the optimism may have used humour in some of them however I don't recall any of them wishing misadventure on him. However agreed it is a very sad situation and thoughts towards his family and RIP James.

I can happily say I don't have any Muslim friends, it's not that I don't want any Muslim friends, its just they are such a self-isolated community in general they have no interest in integrating with non-Muslims either, however if we approached things that way we would be banged up on some 'stupid cow' initiated Islamophobia charge in the future, the country has gone to sht.

This is a very judgemental post the problem is the minority are more protected than the "majority" It doesn't mean you are racist if you are going to vote for Nigel Farage and the reform party not sure where you got that piece of garbage from, it is about protecting national sovereignty and implementing sensible policies around integration and immigration and reversing the Woke state policies that seem to be implemented on a daily basis now. Fair point on the 5 seats on the Reform party currently hold but given the current polling if they held an election tomorrow he would be the UK's next prime minister so possibly turn down a little your left wing socialist views and accept the change that you can't fight and will inevitably happen in the UK. As for Labour talking about stuff I would agree there that's all they do! Create stupid policies that just alienate the people from their own government even more. Can't help with you wanting to beat your girlfriend up you must be angry! I would also suggest you are skin-headist just because someone cuts their hair short that makes them a racist? Is that not just as bad as saying all Muslims are rapists and child murderers?
