Seriously how is this news? If people are too stupid to understand that children swallowing coin's can be dangerous then I despair, I know common sense is rare in Thailand but really....
Really???????? It Is News.... It is news to stupid parents - of which there many. IT IS NEWS in the form of a 'wake up call' for THOSE PARENTS. If it is boring to you go and look at another post. If this story 'woke up' just one parent and saved one child, and even if it didn't, and it wasted a minute of your precious time. I FEEL it was worth the try to alert other parents.

My wife went early Oct. from Los Angeles for $1058 one way (Asiana Airlines) on a package put together by the LA Thai consulate....
In her group were also people from Chicago, NYC, Wash.DC and San Fran... So many consulates are feeding into the groups until they are full, then shift to alternate dates...
The one way price includes 14 days stay in Quarantine Hotel (ALL MEALS included), And a minimum price package Hotel was very good (she has stayed in Marriot and Sheratons and knows the best so she was quite impressed) For the price and near the airport.... She said that service was 5-star....... At the end she was tested once again and Put on a bus to her home in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) all in the price..... I will use my 'Miles' for a free one-way ticket for her to come home in January....
Important..... She had to renew and have a 'current Thai Passport to use for the one way Repatriation flight but will fly out of Thailand on her USA Passport and enter the US with it....
If you like to chat for more info feel free to PM me and I will furnish my Phone for chat.....
I might also add that she found 'MANY' helpful videos on YouTube that she watched before signing up at the consulate...... She paid an agent across the street from the consulate $200 to arrange it too..... but well worth it........ I can find number for agent if helpful for you....
I might add that in her group there was a couple American Husbands who went with their Thai wives.... all set up by the Thai consulates...

I am pretty old now and seen a lot....... When you are talking about 'relationships' .... I can't help but notice how many 'Nice girls' pair-up with 'Bad guys' and survive..... Occasionally a nice guy pairs-up with a 'bitch'.......
After a couple wives I have decided to permit my wife to enjoy same as I enjoy.... Therefore if I enjoy 'fooling around' then I suggest she ' fool around' the same........ That way, we are very 'OPEN' and it is not 'One-sided'...... I WORK HARD at making her want to stay with me.... BUT, If she chooses to go the door is always open to her....... I believe "WHAT IS GOOD FOR THE GOOSE -- IS GOOD FOR THE GANDER"..
But I find that most of my men friends like to be Whores while wanting their women to be 'Puritans'.... If you want her to be a 'Puritan" you must set a good example..... and a few men do exactly that..... On the contrary many men want their women to be 'PURE' while they are the WHORES

"I feel it's not safe. We have had cases of people looting and destroying properties," said Cynthia Kazuo, a resident of the city's Yaba district who said she heard prolonged bursts of gunfire outside her home in recent days.
Interesting that they have a district called 'Yaba'..... I wonder what it means in Nigeria.... I hope not the same as in Thailand,,,, LOL ...

Pity for Thailand and their 'DAM KEEPERS' Those dams are about to bust is the message I get, within a couple percent of overflowing (breaking)........
My Thai wife just went to Thailand to visit an ailing father, I am in the USA.... I am worried about her welfare and her family who live right on a river that is an 'off-shoot' of the MOON RIVER........ Now I am worrying as I know 'Thailand Authorities' so well....Always 'considering' closing the gate well after the horses have run away...... And all poor people in that area........

I posted a reply to somebody's earlier comment several hours ago and I don't see it here now........ What happened????
No mention of being deleted by moderation in the thread now...........
What happened............... OMG..... what is happening in ThaiVisa.com????????
I have gotten to the point that I seldom post anymore but I do find the news informative and I like ThaiVisa.com........... but I am gradually losing my interest in it.........It is 'pitiful' what TV has come down, down, down tooooooooooooooo.
MAYBE it is just a few of the Moderators that are ruining the very interesting site..............

At The Mall, on the 2nd deck, next to the circular exhibition area there is a white booth by the escalator. This booth is adjacent to some watch shops and luggage sales in the hallway. It is a bit of a no name shop, not affiliated with the regular banks. Has had best rates I've seen.
Thank you very much. have you seen it open recently? Many around the country have closed since no tourists are coming...
My Thai wife is headed there tomorrow with a lot of dollars to change.......

Does anybody know where the best exchange rates can be found in Korat....I think there are some that pay more than the Thai Bank's Booths.....

I haven't seen or used the word beserk for so long I had forgotten it existed! As I said on farcebook "With some criminals they should be locked up and the key thrown away. " What I forgot to add was some should be executed to save the taxpayers some money.
Better idea.... Just spread the virus around their cells.... and let nature take it's course.... LOL ......

So let me get this right....to get the evidence that Britain had the US had to promise to not seek the death penalty to these 2 that executed at least 4 people, journalists and aid people?
I think that it is very possible that the treatment that they may get inside prison could me worse than the death sentence.. Let them live long enough to suffer for their cold blooded deeds..

How can it cost me...if indeed as another poster has said there are no extra fees and I am spending money there in any case ?
Somehow It works differently.... Getting cash back on a credit Card or credit/debit card throws you into a different catagory than just a merchandise purchase.......
UT... Don't need to believe me - that is ok.... GO to a store and tr i, thn go home a your account online....

Many US credit cards do not have a foreign transaction fee. My Capital One, HSBC and Chase cards have no foreign transaction fees, but my Citibank card does if I use it overseas. An added bonus of using a credit card is that many US credit cards also have cash back features (e.g., the Capital One cash back credit card gives 1 percent back for nearly all purchases).
And don't forget that the 'exchange Rate' you get on a credit card is higher by about 20-25 satang than the Thai Money Changer booths on the street.... Even more valuable than the 1-2%
have charged something on my card and gome home to look on the computer... My charge is posted on my online account within seconds as a 'pending' charge... Then I look at the baht value at th moment and d the Math.... My Credit card was exchanged at the 'TT Rate' which is considerable higher than the dollar exchange rate.... SO THAT is an additional benefit to using your card overseas.

Hmm...I'll have to check my Chase card....I can use that for lots of stuff if there's no extra fees...and get cash back
I think getting cash back will cost you dearly.........

Don't most foreign cards it you with a 3% transaction fee when used overseas ?
This is a very good question. That 3% is a real deal, and adds up, but only about half of my credit cards charge it. I have several and always ask the card company if they charge an Intternational Conversion Fee. If they do I make it a point no to use their card and use some others that I know have NO FEE. My experience applies only to USA cards.... I have No experience with other countries......
