   I thought all insurance company's have a clause not to pay damages for civil unrest or riots, the lower courts agreed, but higher court see's differently, are they too in the Junta's pocket ??????

   Soidogs Millionaire's article on taking pets to England is indeed a use full guide on the subject. But as I was only going for a holiday, I believed that with all the right paperwork, it would not be a problem,  I knew it was was OK to fly to Europe, but was given the impression that getting into England WAS THE PROBLEM, 

   I did find DEFRA's information on that matter not  helpful. 

    A good vet will handle all's that's needed, and some airlines are very accomodating with the transport issues, But its just the UK politics that became stumbling block, having to use uk airport crooks to make the transfer from plane to customs and the ARC.

     A few years back I tried taking our small dog to the UK for just 8 weeks, Having done all the necessary veterinary requirements, and arranged the flights. However, some airlines allow small animals to be transported in the main passenger cabin, BUT UK laws insist all animals arrive in the cargo hold, which meant arranging for a cargo handler at Heathrow to collect the animal from the plane, and take it to the ARC (animal reception centre). 

      But just hours before the flight, received a phone call from JAMES CARGO at Heathrow demanding 480 pounds for the service. I thought what a bunch of Crooks, when i complained about the cost, the Bitch on the phone said "well, we don't do it for free",

     After that, I canceled our flights,  We are supposed to be part of the EU, and its no problem going to the rest of Europe, but the UK, had to be different (citing Rabies as an Excuse inspite of earlier veterinary tests and procedures.

    On my next visit to the UK, I saw my local MP about the whole problem, and left it in his hands to see if anything could be done, but typical of UK politics I received a pathetic response " Sorry, but we cannot interfere in what Airlines carry animals",  now't to do with the problem.

    I did contact JAMES CARGO for a breakdown of the cost's, and received several bogus charges, and the total still never came to more than 200 pounds. 

     Moral of this story, unless money is of no importance, DON't take pet's to RIP OFF BRITAIN.

My wife recently had 8 days in ICU, and gratefully they saved her life, But when she started to see the bills she started to get distressed, She wanted out on the Monday, but the doctor never came, so she had to stay till Tuesday, another 40,000 Baht. All's well now, she seeing her local doctor, and paying pharmacy prices, have cancelled out-patient appointments, as the last one was another 10,000 Baht. NO MORE C/M Ram.

     Thais must of seen the new constitution as a total falacy when it was drafted by the Military, and in every way was anti Thai for the Thai people, I can't believe the stupidity of the Junta getting a single vote in the earlier Election. So, are Thais really that stupid, or the EC that crooked.

      And now the Navy want to sieze it as evidence, they have enough photoes, but can they produce an accurate sea chart, showing it outside Thai teratorial waters.

     What a pathetic narrow minded load of CRAP, to think that these people are running the country, and the Navy wanted something to do, to make them feel important.  The whole matter is a total over reaction from a load of idiots.

     My guess would be that the West is not doing more, because it does not want to pressurise the Junta into moving even more further to the East, If that ever happens, God help Thaland. 

       Songkan is a time for fun, so an illegal goverment with narrow minded opinions are more likely to be ignored, its time they woke up to the 21st. century.

    I can appreciate that efforts where needed to counter illegal's in the country, but maybe his policies where too agressive, and he's been killing the goose that laid the golden egg, ie, stepped on too many toes, and damageing Thailand' economy and reputation.

   I'm sure the real reason will eventually be told as its a serious question on everybody lips.

It just proves how poorly educated some of these people in higher positions, that they are able to make such a comment such as this, I guess the pilots will have proved thier intelligence is greater than those on the ground.  All to common in Thailand.

      The Junta thought he was so smart and clever, that he decided to implement a coup and take over running of the country, he's just proved again he ain't too bright, having to tell others to sort it, when he's got no bright solutions to the problem himself.

If 78% of the country is using Debit/Credit cards, then I wonder what percent of them are using stolen or borrowed cards ?

     How many charges should the Junta face, I would start with treason.

            I thought EC stood for Election Conmen ????

    Time for an investigation as he's broken the EC laws on trying to influence the voters. He's obviously guilty and should be barred from the Election.

      Democratic Elections have  failed to get off the ground before they even started, with the corrupt military run EC. 

     I really hope Thais are not to dumb, to see whats going on, and vote accordingly.
