    No, I don't think so. I wish they reduced it to 14 days for all countries. Those who want to stay longer than 2 weeks are not real tourists. Many of them take jobs from local people and are involved in criminal activity!

    Thailand Immigration should not encourage them to stay in Thailand long time on purchased ED visas and other NON-O visas and visa extensions including Retirement (except for Marriage).

    Absolutely agree! Visa waiver entry scheme should be completely abolished or made much stricter like Singapore has.

    Yes, Visa Exempt entering scheme should be abolished for most countries including France, China, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and some other countries. These are the countries most criminals and fugitives are coming from and finding a save heaven in Thailand! Extensive police record checks are required before allowing them to enter Thailand.

    Ukrainian refugees have a better place to go, they are welcomed by Poland, Germany, France, etc.

    Will there be another crackdown in Phuket and Pattaya on ILLEGAL visa extensions (ED visas and other NON-O visa extensions including those based on Retirement, Volunteer, etc.)? I wish there were, and this corruption scheme eradicated in Thailand.

    I have always believed that the controversial practice of visa conversion without exiting Thailand is illegal. Please correct me if I am wrong. Can anyone provide a reference to an official RTP document regulating this kind of visa conversion within Thailand without the need of exiting the Kingdom?

    Absolutely right! Hopefully all those illegally issued NON-O visas and visa extensions will be cancelled and those foreigners who bought those visas and visa extensions deported from Thailand and black listed!

    Also the licenses should be revoked from many language schools in Phuket and Pattaya who routinely sell ED visas in cooperation with corrupt immigration officers and visa agents.
