So what? You realise if there were food poisoning bacteria in your microwave food, microwaving it will not stop you getting sick!!!!!! The bacteria would have produced TOXINS and you will get ill the same.
I'll take the toxins over the alternative, but thats just me. In either case, I don't like Pad Thai anyway, and I avoid raw foods and especially things like Thai clams, other shell fish, etc. I figure in most cases I am getting better at avoiding the issue, and my body is getting used to the typical bacteria here. My biggest issue here is the chemical cocktail I am sure is found on all the food here, there is almost no way to avoid it. So dying of some nasty cancer is more than likely the outcome of prolonged stay in Thailand.

I usually try to zap (microwave) every meal here when I get a chance (wife brings food home, or orders it local), I don't usually eat out, unless its a higher end restaurant. I think I have been slightly sick maybe 3-4 times in the last 3 years, nothing as bad as after eating an airline meal while en route to Thailand from Japan (Japanese Dish), wanted to die after that meal.

The difference of opinion is unresolved issues over the status and security of ethnic Karen people living in the forest complex. If you want recognition from the world- perhaps the government should act like they are part of it.
Xenophobia is more important to Thai's, even against their own ethnic people, they are never going to stop.

Well this says all you need to know about the useless government employees here, police who give ultimatums for police protection. Not that I actually thought the RTP were anything more than useless, they are the biggest joke of a police force I have ever seen.

Maybe I am in the minority here, but the only time I notice Thai drivers driving even remotely safely is when it rains. Maybe there are a few idiots in the rain, but when its dry out there are more idiots out than ever, how about driving safely at all times! The fact that you have to tell someone how to drive in the rain is a sign they aren't trained properly, fix that first!

I also fit the INNOVV K2, using the headlight bracket at the front and the luggage rack at the rear. The biggest part of the job was running the cables (particularly from the front - I had to remove every piece of trim !)
While away for 4 weeks my battery had been drained (even though I did not have the cam in park mode it still drains some power - this is also covered as an issue on the INNOVV website / forum) - my solution is to rely on a CTEK battery tender while away for more than a couple of weeks.
I just got done installing the replacement power converter (redesigned) that Rock Liu at INNOVV sent me, so here is to hoping that this battery drain issue is either mitigated, or gone forever.

Its a failed society, it needs cleansing, nothing short of a Civil War will make any difference at this point.

You will find that most Thais regard lawyers up there with buffalos on the trust scale
That holds true for every lawyer on earth, nothing new there.

I think I would leave anyway, if the Thai locals catch wind of the fact that these miscreants are allowed to abuse their national/monarchy flags, they may wish to enact their own form of justice, never a good thing here.

Personally I think there is much more to this than just immigration and visa issues. There are currently many factors, that are making foreigners consider the wisdom behind staying in Thailand. To think it is only related to immigration matters I think is a little naive.
Well you can also add in the Anti-Farang movement of the current non-Democratic government to those factors.

No Chadar, Thai people are not spineless, just afraid of the guns.
From what I can see on TV, almost every Thai seems to have a gun, its not like they are unarmed.

Go on Youtube... Thailand dash cam crashes...lots of footage there
Sad, I can't believe how many dumb drivers are out there, if there is anything the government needs to address before any other, its the road carnage.

Only Yesterday ?! It’s every day !!! Rain or shine 24/7 Thai roads are the most dangerous in the world as long as there are Thai people on the wheels !
I keep saying this would be a safer place if we could just get rid of all the Thai drivers.

It's great that Prayut prioritises matters of national importance, as in not.. Toy machines, gambling, mafia, how comical..
How about tackling MC helmets, making it 100% on all roads, streets and sois.
How about meaningful ways of reducing Thailand's horrific road fatality toll.
How about legislation against forest burning from months of Jan till end of April to reduce dangerous PM2.5..
And not being asleep at the wheel, and showing leadership to improve Thai's lives.. Not novel ideas..
The PM is an imbecile, and a National Embarrassment, leadership?! LMAO!

I've always wondered what exactly that's supposed to mean in the world of Thai foods....
If certain kinds of meats or veggies they carry are supposed to be "hygienic," then does that mean that the other varieties of meats or veggies on sale are non-hygienic???
How often do you see soap in restrooms? I rest my case...

It not about gambling - it's more like an innocent competition against Your self. Should they choose to go that path then you need to Close down everything that you pay for where the intention is to winn or lose.
They could start with the state lottery which is a real form for gambling and not least constitutes a real risk of addiction …
Shutdown the the only hope poor people have of making it rich?! Surely you jest! With no hope they may turn on the Junta, we can't have that!
