Isn't that draconian online defamation law still in place? This seems like an excellent way to get yourself thrown in jail by posting a video of a bad driver who didn't want to be "shamed".
Defamation would be a "false" claim, I think video would prove it wasn't false.
QuoteSection 330. Truth as a Defense
In case of defamation, if the person prosecuted for defamation can prove that the imputation made by him is true, he shall not be punished. But he shall not be allowed to prove if such imputation concerns personal matters, and such proof will not be benefit to the public.

I could have a field day with this one......LOL
Not sure if I could show the best, but I can show daily consistently bad behavior, mainly no blinkers while lane changing, I especially love it when cars crisscross each others lanes with no blinkers, near misses everyday, must be the amulets saving them ????

Exactly right.
Just about every countrys people have sat by and let politicians take the complete pเรร out out of them.
Then if/when Thais do take to the streets the foriegn media portray them as simpletons and make out its a bannana republic.
how long and how many times since Brits voted about this whole Brexit sham?
and they still been ignored!
Maybe if Brits made an "uprising" there it might be different.
Cant really preach about Thailand.
My country is blamed for going to war all over the world, so I know I won't be counted in the "armchair warriors", we love a fight!

Abhisit is gone, forever!
Abhisit's idea of fair play is the army illegally seizes power and then hands it to the Democrats.
Unfortunately for this loser, the army realised they don't need to hide behind empty suits.
Especially when the empty suits are more hated than the Generals (referencing of course Abhisit's role in 2010).
He is done, a failure of epic proportions.
Had Abhisit never had a political career, Thailand wouldn't be stuck under Prayuth now.
Marvellous legacy that.
I'll remember to quote you in the future, but I am pretty sure Abhisit did not resign for nothing, he did it to make sure he would HAVE a future. This is Thailand, nobody does anything here without first thinking themselves, not their countrymen.

In May 2019 Thailand bought 37 “ striker “ vehicles from USA. The US government gave Thailand 23 more for free.............( Hey, buy one get one free! )Total of 60. These are fast moving armored, armed, land based, tire driven personnel carrying vehicles designed for ( aside from armed warfare) ............crowd control !!! ( those pesky crowds) Currently stored in the BKK area. Recently purchased 2017/2018, 38 VT-4s tanks, 3 S26T submarines, all manufactured in China . Total Thb 42.9 BILLION. That’s a lot of housing and infrastructure. Pull up a chair, get some popcorn, it’s going to be interesting. Oh, and a prayer for Thailand couldn’t hurt.
Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa ConnectI would like to see my government shut that sale down, but I doubt it. We should not be doing business with tinpot dictators.

During the election campaign, the leader of the Democrat Party announced that the Democrats would not be supporting Prayuth to continue as Prime Minister.
The Democrat Party, under Abhisit, was an anti-Prayuth party.
From this you extrapolate that the 3.9 million Thais who then proceeded to vote for the Democrats were actually still supporting Prayuth for PM and that the millions of previous Democrat voters that abandoned the Democrat Part and voted PPRP did so because...?????
I think our American friend has a better understanding of coalitions (and logic and reason) than you do.
Which is why Abhisit resigned, he will be back, and able to command followers after showing he clearly wasn't behind voting for a dictator. Smart move on his part, the others in the Democrat Party are going to be cleared out during the next elections, they might as well grab as much from the trough as they can, because their days are numbered.

Be hopeful. The opposition has 244 seats and therefore have the numbers to initiate a vote of no confidence debate against the PM. They only require two-fifths vote against the PM and one-fifth against an minister. If some of the Dem MPs break party line, the opposition bloc can master a majority of one-half of the house to be successful. Prayut and his goons will have to keep their noses clean which I doubt they can.
S44 to the rescue.

If he had won the PM position the investment potential from other countries would have exploded overnight, now? I wouldn't expect anything but a decline, as there is no good from doing business with a Napoleon, unless you are one of the other conspirator pigs on the farm. I wouldn't invest anything in this country either, its not a secure democracy, its a country now run by a corrupt imbecile who has now turned into megalomaniac.

Will a higher authority bless this nightmare on the Thai people, or will this higher authority be smart enough to put an end to it?

We could always leave with our family and money in tow, let them fend themselves, after Napoleon and the other pigs have raped and pillaged all they can.....maybe then Thailand will move forward in the world, today they are a Banana Republic which refuses to enter the civilized world, let them wither and die if that is their choice.

Keep hoping, the Western world have had dozens of opportunities over the past years and have done bugger-all, so why will they do anything this time?
I am hoping that the reason was these elections, in that the hope was that they would fix the issue before a stance was made. This way no confrontation, but if Prayut using this rigged election becomes PM again, I would say all bets are off.

I'm hoping the Western countries are waiting to see what happens, and if Prayut is put back into power because of this rigged system, that they will immediately sanction him and his minions. Hopefully shutting off any further communication until such time as a democratic election is held and the coup/junta leaders removed.

The next year should indicate if I need to move my family out of here, or not, waiting to see what kind of violence will come from all this.....there is no way this stealing of Democracy will go unchallenged.

I'm just saying that here in Thailand, nothing goes to waste, I am amazed what the workers will take from my trash in my townhouse community. You put anything out there, and in about 5 minutes, GONE!

Probably the end of the Dem Party, they more than likely just put the nail in their own coffin, next election will be more devastating for them than they could possibly imagine. You would think they would have got a wake-up call from this past election, obviously they are tone deaf.

A "higher authority" should see this nutjob as dangerous to their own very existence and sweep him away before he becomes their own downfall.
