have covid at the moment, so does my wife. i'd say there is more covid around now than there was at the "peak". back then i'd struggle to name a single person who'd had it.
that we know of right now.. cleaners whole family have it, 2 of wifes friends, 2 build crews we know, pool guys had it last week, list goes on and on. thing is no-one is bothering to report it anymore unless getting really sick so job done, low numbers, tourism back on track.
going to be interesting when those flights start returning to china!

I recently check out five dosed-up reefer smokers from a villa.
When I arrived at the villa, all five were comatose in their beds. They had to be out of the villa within 45 minutes - next guests were due and we needed to clean and disinfect the villa.
It took 90 minutes to get them dressed, packed and out.
It took one guest 10 minutes of 'wobbling' trying to put his feet in the legs of his pants.
They then proceeded to get on their rental scooters (not an easy task) to return them to the rental company.
One guest fell off before he got to the end of the road.
Yes, an extreme case of 'too much wacky baccy' but they were a danger on the roads.
I am 100% sure that this is not the only case of idiocy here in Thailand, but the majority of them will never make the newspapers.
they sound drunk to me. maybe been on a bender all night? (last night in paradise?) and passed out an hour before you arrived..

Now if it was something like a Tomorrowland it would attract an audience from far and wide. As my Granddaughter in the UK is a concert organiser she has said that whilst their concerts are good they are in no way comparable to EDM or Tomorrowland productions in her opinion. Mind you a 3 day ticket for those would require a bank loan. But even a smaller event such as a Creamfields concert would be good for pulling the crowds, assuming of course it actually goes ahead and that this government by then does away with the covid rules/restrictions so people can attend easily without any of the BS hassles.
a small event like a creamfields concert???
the last 3 creamfields (biggest EDM event in the UK by the way) had attendances of 280,000 people
per day they are the same size as tomorrowland (70K) though tomorrowland has a higher total attendance as it runs over more days

With some people it just fits their personal style.
Many people have a favorite drug of choice. Mammals and many primates seek out and enjoy various plant drugs. Butterflies get drunk on fermented fruit.
Do you drink coffee? If you do does it take you back to your younger days? No? Didn't think so.
I don't and haven't for over 50 years. I was always amused by the long lines at the coffee machine when I went to work in the morning. No conversation, just scowling faces and grunts as they waited for their fix.
Whatever pulls your trigger is OK with me and it's OK to be amused. Trying to draw conclusions beyond that is just a waste of time though. Potato Pattato.
they didn't think of having a coffee before they left home? they waited until they got to work?
jeez, no wonder they were grouchy
